What a way to spend a weekend...

...in the emerg. How awesome is that? I originally took Izaac because I thought he had internal bleeding or a serious reaction to the meds he's on for Scarlet fever, he's ok. Not a thing wrong with him. Thank goodness!

Me on the other hand, I friggin' sneezed the other night and heard a loud pop then was in a ton of pain. I asked the doctors to check me out while I was in emerg. with Izaac and it turns out I gave myself a hernia when I sneezed. It's terrible, one of the more painful things I have had to deal with. For some crazy reason I'm really dizzy and light headed too so I'm gonna make an appointment to see my Dr. tomorrow and find out if it's getting worse and I need to be operated on. This is just plain awesome. Who knew a sneeze could cause so much pain?

On the plus side, I have really great friends and neighbors who are willing to come help me out with all my lifting and chores (ie. kids, laundry, garbage, shoveling)

  • Oh, no!  I'm glad Izaac is okay but sorry to hear about you.  Hopefully you just need some rest and it will resolve on it's own.

  • Thanks guys, I'm glad Izaac is okay too or I would have to get Russ to fly home to help me out. There is no way I can take care of sick kids right now. Thank goodness he's home in a week.

  • Thanks guys, I'm heading to the doctor today. It's making me really dizzy, lightheaded and nauseous and I'm starving but I can't eat anything. Hopefully it's not all bad news but if it is Russ is going to fly home tomorrow and if he can't I'm going to try and get my mom to come up and help me out for a week. She has MS so it'll be more like us taking care of each other. I'm praying for good news right now.
