It's Monday!! (Again? where did the weekend go??)
Is it just me or are the weekends flying by???
Did everyone have a good one?
I didn't do too much, and yesterday it was rainy and windy as all get out, so it was a good day to stay in, and finish reading "The Golden Prince"! Finally :-))

This weekend absolutley flew by. I am so tired today and just hoping to make it til 3:30 this afternoon.
Friday night DH took me to dinner and then we chilled at home until my BFF's flight got in.
Saturday morning we finally got DH's new truck (YAY!!!!) and then I went to breakfast with friends. In the evening we had a family baptism to go to, so we hung out with them for a bit.
Sunday was a very tiring day. We went to the visitation for our friend's mom and then to her cousin's house after for a little while. My friend is having a really hard time with this, but tries to be strong around other people. I think I may invite them over for dinner this week one night or next weekend.
Today I'm leaving early to take BFF to the airport.
Hopefully this week isn't as crazy as the past 2.
Crap, 2 good morning threads! Where do I post?
Saturday was good. DH was feeling better so went to a local kite festival. It was beautiful weather and we saw some really cool kites (I posted a few pictures on FB if anyone wants to see) and I discovered that I suck at flying a kite (there's also I picture of that).
Sunday DH woke up not feeling so hot and had a fever so he called the on-call doctor at the hospital where he had his surgery last Monday. Long story short, he's back in the hospital waiting on blood cultures to tell us if he has an infection or not. He'll be there until tomorrow at the earliest and I'm just concerned and bummed that I can't go visit him tonight because I have to take care of my puppy.
/pity party.

I think we were both writing our Good Morning posts about the same time...lol...I got to share news of my low key weekend twice :-)
Yes, the weekend completely buzzed by me!!! Friday night Jeff and I finished cleaning the house, then my sister & her family got there about 8, and my parents came over to see the girls, too.
Saturday morning I went and ran, then Jeff smoked a pork shoulder for 8 hours that day! We had a fabulous supper with the entire family, including the homemade apple pie my mom brought!!
Sunday the entire family went to church, and then to the restaurant that catered the wedding because they have the best food around! : ) Then, my sister's fam headed on back up to Omaha, and I took a nap, until my BFF, Chels, came down to hang out. We went and saw her parents, then when I got home I went and ran again. Ugh. I'm dead!
They are flying by! I think we need to have 4 day weekends and 3 day work weeks!!
Friday I felt like a bump on a log. Still managed to get a workout in though!
Saturday was a busy morning. Took the dogs to the dog park, stopped at 3 different flooring stores and picked up lunch. We were home by 1 and DH was exhausted. We watched Biggest Loser on DVR then took the dogs for a walk. When we got back DH took a nap and I did some sewing. In the evening we went out for chinese and came home to watch a movie.
Sunday we went to church, then walked across the lake by our house (exhausting). DH went to work and I took care of kitty and the dogs, did some sewing, and watched some movies.

We had a good weekend! My family came to our new house on Saturday for my mom's birthday and it was so nice to have the space now.
The weekends totally fly by!

The kite festival sounds like so much fun! Sorry to hear about your DH though, hope he recovers quickly!
