Amazing Nestie Shower Cleaning Tip

A few months ago (gosh, not sure when), there was a post about your best cleaning tips here. And I have to thank whoever gave me this one, because it's literally saved me hours of frustration.

I hate cleaning the shower - and someone posted that every few days, when you know you're going to wash the towel you just used after getting out of the shower, use that towel to wipe down all of the surfaces in your shower until they're dry - it gets stuff out of the corners and off the bottom of the shower and the walls.

My shower is SO clean and I haven't had to scrub it in months - just a quick dry down with a towel every couple of days and a soft scrub spray for good measure every week or two and I'm set to go.

Thanks to whoever gave this phenomenal tip!

Re: Amazing Nestie Shower Cleaning Tip

  • Aw...you're welcome.  I posted it a while ago, so maybe it was me, or someone else who has the same great idea.

We use a towel on the floor to step out on, so we use that towel and do it daily.  The whole thing can be done in less than 60 seconds.

I also have only a nylon shower curtin, no vinyl, and it gets thrown in the washer about once a month, then hung back on the shower curtin rod to air dry.

  • Yes Thanks for sharing! I'm going to start doing that too :)

  • I also hate cleaning the shower, great tip!
  • A friend of mine used to use a facecloth for wiping down her shower. It was used specifically for wiping down the shower and it was used after everyshower and thrown in to be washed every couple days or so.
