Bras and undies, oh my!
Atleast once every spring and fall I try to go through my under-items and get rid of some stuff. Yesterday I did my spring-cleaning and DH was astounded by how much underwear I have. I threw out 17 pairs and it barely put a dent in my drawer.
So, any idea how much underwear (panties, thongs, etc) or bras you own?
I have no clue on the underwear. I'd guess over 100 pairs. I actually found some pairs that were brand new (well washed but not worn yet) that I forgot I had bought. As for "regular" bras (aka not sport bras or strapless), I have about 12, but only 7 of them I really wear on a regular basis. Some are just cutesy for at-home fun :O)

I have two bras that I wear regularly and one that I wear when I'm washing the other two, but would never leave the house in.
I might have 15 pairs of panties, might.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermI have 6 pairs of regular Fruit of the Loom cotton panities, that I wear daily. And I have maybe 3 pairs of "fancy" panties (that I bought around the time of the wedding).
And I own 3 bras. Two of them are daily drivers and 1 is a plunge bra that I only wear when I'm dressed up (and it was my wedding bra too!)

I know how you feel. Last year for my b-day, Chris got me a $300 gift certificate for the bra place I go to. I paid an extra $40 and got two bras. I do admit that I did go a bit fancier on one of them than I would have if I didn't have the gift certificate.

Bras, Id say I've got around 14 maybe 15, but really only wear like 5 of them on a regular basis
Poor Mike gets ONE whole dresser drawer for his socks/underwear/pj pants. And I've got a whole drawer full of nothing but bras, and one of them little 3 drawer carts things full of panties...

OMG I have a ridiculous amount.
"regular" underwear: 40
"pretty-special occasion" underwear: 37
"normal" bras: 9 (but there are 3 I wear most of the time)
"pretty-special occasion" bras: 6
(and I do thin the herd pretty regularly - anything that doesn't fit "well" or underwear that are starting to stretch or get less than "nice" get tossed a few times a year)...
I clean mine out every few months.
I probably have about 70 pairs, including all thongs, briefs, boyshorts, etc
Bras.. I have maybe like 10-15 sets for that special occasions, then I have about 5-6 regular bras but typically end up wearing the same 4.
I have a huge drawer full of panties, if I had to guess.. about 100 pairs. Now, most of them I bought 4+ years ago when I was single and could spend my money on whatever I wanted. LOL I have only bought maybe 10 pairs in the past 4 years. I need to go through my drawer for spring cleaning still, so that will knock out about 10 pairs. (When Steve and I first started dating I had TWO drawers full!)
Bras - I have 3 that are for daily wear. And I have about 20 that don't fit anymore, but I want them to fit, and they are from Victoria Secret and barely used, so I have not thrown them out yet, in hopes of wearing them again someday.
I used to have a serious VS secret addiction... I worked right down the street from a store and would go in at least weekly on my lunch break. They all knew me by name
I am stunned at the amount of underwear you all have!
I have probably about 25 pairs, but a bunch I don't wear and obviously wash the ones I wear regularly.
I have about 7 bras. I hate shopping for both underwear & bras, so that could explain my lack of each.
The majority of my bras are VS, but all purchased from the Semi-Annual Sale. In January I got 4 new bras, but they were all $12.99, so I kind of just stock up.
For undies, like Kenna, I have a good selection of "fancy" panties/thongs and then my selection of everyday wear too

Ditto- my bras cost about $75 each- more if I find a fancy one.
I have 1 really good bra (right fit) then 2 other bras (a size too small). I filter through these regularly. I have a few sports bras for working out and days off cleaning and such.
For underwear I have like 20 or so pairs of regular ones- then maybe 20 or so "special occasion" ones. This number went up for the wedding and then last month when we honeymooned lol!
Holy crap, I love you ladies, but that's a LOT of underwear. They're effing expensive. :P

I actually don't really wear underwear all that often. I wear it during Aunt Flo's visits, and whenever I wear a dress, but the rest of the time, it's pretty much commando. This was on the advice of a nurse practitioner I was seeing, because I was getting constant urinary tract infections (not a good thing with compromised kidney function) and nothing seemed to be keeping them from happening. They went away almost entirely when I switched to all cotton, reusable menstrual pads and started giving my lady bits some air. Coincidental? Maybe, but if it ain't broke, I'm not fixin' it. (Disclaimer: I am not saying this is the solution for everyone. I'm simply saying it works for me.)
So yeah...I own MAYBE 8-10 pairs of underwear, all of them cotton, most of them plain white, but I do have a couple of cute pairs just for variety.
As for bras, I have 2 that I rotate from day to day, and 1 "wash day" bra that has definitely seen better days. It's probably about time to replace my stock.
I am the underwear/VS wh0re!! I just bought 3 pairs of the new Incredible undies at VS, I had a $10 off and a coupon for a free pair so I paid $16 for three pairs. I just went through my undies and got rid of a large shopping bag full but I still have prob 75-100 pairs of undies, mostly "fancy" panties but a few cotton boring ones.
Like Erin, I also go commando quite frequently for the same reason, after AF I was getting yeast infections so OBGYN told me, no undies at bed time and cotton only or nothing at all, I can't give up the fancy panties but I do like to go with nothing.
Bras- I have like 10 that I rotate.
