Re: Clicky: Favorite thing about..
Living in the same city! Haha, I would have checked more things on the list if I could have. My favorite part is not being long distance from H anymore. Now that we are nearly 4 months in to living together I would've thought we would have our first fight by now, but no, not yet. So that's good, but we aren't so delusional to think we never will have a fight. It just hasn't happened yet.
Books read in 2012: 21/50
1) No longer having the stress of planning the wedding
2) No longer having to stress over paying for the wedding (I realize this isn't much different than #1)
3) Relaxing and enjoying life with H without having to worry too much about the next "big step" just yet.
4) I have to admit I was pretty excited to get my first "wife" card on Valentines day - I look forward to getting my first wife Birthday Card in August
Incase you can't tell I'm a card girl, I love to see which ones he picks

Can I say saris LOL? True, they're not that useful for me, but it's so fun to look at them!
But seriously, there are so many great things about being married! Since we were already living together, the biggest change is being able to introduce my husband. And not planning a wedding is pretty great too.
I chose decorating our house... We're knee-deep in some renovations that we're doing ourselves, and living around them. And when I say "ourselves" I mean DH does all the hard stuff, and I hand him things and clean up the messes, haha! Last night, we just laid on the couch and planned out some of our next steps we want to do around the house, which we plan on doing with our tax refund that we should get any day now. We both get really excited about making this house our own - even though we've been in it for a year and a half, we're both on the same page about what we're daydreaming about now that the wedding is behind us.
Also, I get giddy every single time I say he's my husband
We lived together for almost two years before we got married, so we were able to have the romantic nights and the couch snuggles and whatnot for a long time. I'm just grateful to not be planning a wedding anymore!
Oh, and the tax benefits proved to be nonexistant for us this year. Oh well.
Maybe next year after he's had a full year of being salaried rather than bringing home tips!

I chose a combination. I really actually wanted to choose the tax advantages...
haha, mostly because it's ridiculous how much $$ we'll be getting back this year. And honestly, mostly because of wedding expenses, so it's not like it'll be this amazing every year.
I'm with zara though that the cozing evenings as a married couple are wonderful. Things feel more secure and more relaxed than ever, which is great.
