How to Get Hair Off Carpet Before Vacuuming?
Hi Ladies, I hate vacuuming because it often turns into a vacuum repair job, pulling hair from the brush and insides of vacuum. I have a lot of medium length, thick hair. I should be bald, given the quantity that ends up on the carpet. Gross.
Do you have any ideas/product suggestions to help me get the hair up from the carpet prior to vacumming? I don't have a pet but I wondered if somethign geared toward pet hair might help or if it would just take forever. Or, a swiffer type thing with a brush on the end of it could work. If that's not on the market, will someone please invent it?

I agree that you just need a better vacuum and that you need to accept the fact that cleaning out the roller bar is just a part of having long beautiful locks.
agree, get a better vacuum if you can. My Dyson is awesome for that.
But it that's not possible, maybe something like this is what you're looking for- http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0001IEU0C/ref=asc_df_B0001IEU0C1456875?smid=A3A4FDY0IQGOA0&tag=shopzilla_mp_1187-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395105&creativeASIN=B0001IEU0C
My roommate used to get these for dog hair, and they're often found in pet stores. It's like a gigantic lint roller that you use on the floor, and it works really well. The downside is that you have to keep buying refills.
They also make ones that are washable and reuseable, although I don't know how well those hold up.
Thanks for the responses and the options!
Go to Bed Bath & Beyond with your coupon and they have there this yellow sponge thing that is exactly for this purpose. I use mine all. the. time!!!!!!
YOu must get one if you have this problem.
