I just saw this and I am so pissed about it!
Imagine all of the women who won't seek pre-natal care because they are scared their doctors will report any such incidents. This is so sad.
There are so many people having difficulties starting families. There is no reason to hold a woman responsible for any pregnancy that ends itself.
I know women who have delivered live babies that died shortly after... did they hold the doctors and hospitals responsible?
UGH! I am so frustrated to hear that they are even trying to propose this!

I heard about this last week, and it just makes me so angry. I cannot fathom how, with all of the serious issues facing our country right now, a woman's right to choose is the biggest priority for these yayhoos. I don't get why it's ok to treat women like chattel. And for a grieving mother to be submitted to their nonsense after a miscarriage makes my blood boil. I swear, it's always the most "religious" people who show the least amount of compassion.
There's not a shot in hades that this bill will pass, I'm sure. This guy is a real piece of work. He also sponsored the bill that wants to change the term rape "victim" to "accuser." I can't wait until the sex scandal hits him. Because the guys clamoring the loudest against the gays and the wimmen-folk are almost always the ones with something to hide.
