Our roommate caught the Bouquet. And my old roommates boy friend (that sounds weird havent used that word in a while) caught the garder.

Here's the thing, I didn't wear a garter. Instead, I just had it safety pinned to the inside of my dress lining. So that's why it looks like he's ALL up in my business. lmao

About to toss the bouquet:
I love this picture of my friend ducking!
Nobody actually caught the bouquet or the garter. As you can see, I overshot the crowd and Nick ended up undershooting them, but it was a dating couple (who are now engaged) that scooped them up.
So the Best man thought it would be funny if we put a garter on his dads leg and cover it with my dress...and she how long it would take to tell...so that's this one it was good laugh for all of us but Mike.
Then him getting the one I had on! lol I love the face my MH is making lol!!!
We how didn't do the toss tho instead we got all the married couples out on the dance floor and they danced and longest married couple got it... which turned out to be his parents married 31 years. (would have been his grandparents married something like 56 years, but they skipped out early)

I clearly didn't practice my toss lol but it did go straight to my SIL (she's on the very end pointing at it!)
They announced it was garter time and I couldn't find Mike so I was freaked out.. then Pink Panther started playing and he started darting around the crowd to get to me, it was hysterical
All up in there..
There's a running joke of my SIL and my cousin, so Mike tossed it directly to my cousin.
This post reminds me of my brother's wedding in January last year... they were getting ready to do the garter toss, and Steve told me that he had never seen one before...
Then my brother went up my SIL's dress to get the garter and Steve turned to me with the most shocked look on his face
and said "Oh. My. God! He is doing that in front of your parents?!?!? Pete has BALLS!!" I was laughing about that for the rest of the night!
Fun post. I clearly sucked at tossing the bouquet since it went straight backwards:

It was the 3rd bouquet she'd caught at a 2010 wedding...GM's mom was like "Um dear, do you have something to tell me?" GM:"Yea Mom, I need to borrow a lot of money, and quick" lol

I used to babysit the kid... and when he was three (now 12), he told me he was gonna marry me when he grew up. When he found out he was invited to the wedding, he kept telling his grandma, "He better be good to her."
There actually are no pics of our bouquet or garter toss...I know, boooooo!!!
But I do have a permanent reminder of the bouquet toss...the reception hall at our church has a drop ceiling, and when I tossed my bouquet, it went straight up in the air and the red intuition roses made a HUGE red mark on one of the ceiling tiles!
Coincidentally, it's directly over our heads every Sunday when we sing with the praise band during services. Every once in a while, Ron or one of the other praise band members will catch my eye, look at the ceiling and laugh at me. I just joke that we wanted to leave an indelible impression for years to come.
So fun!! This was my favorite part of the whole night!!

But....I had on cowboy boots so it was a little difficult for him to get it over my boot and I ended up kicking him in the face, but alas! he got it!
Getting ready to throw the bouquet-I am looking at the girls that I am throwing to and picking other people out of the crows that are single (my nephew is in front of me waiting patiently for the dollar dance)
My sister caught the bouquet and this is our high five moment.
We had 2 bouquet tosses, since we had so many little girls.

Little girls - thumbs up was to the DJ for 2 reasons: I almost toppled over on my way down, and to signal I was ready for him to count down.
Our flower girl caught it, then gave it to one of Zach's cousins kids that she'd made friends with during the reception. Molly (fg) told Jordyn (cousin) that Jordyn could have the bouquet, because Molly'd gotten flowers for being the flower girl.
Going for the garter. My 13 year old cousin caught it, and had it around his arm for the rest of the night, until I told him how high up on my thigh it had been (on purpose - Zach dragged it off with his teeth), and after that I saw it on my uncle's wrist.
