Some of you had a "first look" session before the ceremony, some of you got your first look at the ceremony.

We both said the same thing: that the moment we saw each other it was like a wave of calm swept away all those nerves.
This seems to be the only photo i can find right now, I'll have to go back though my thumb drive and see if i didn't load all the photos on to my new computer, I think there were others!

C and I didn't do a first look before the ceremony, but I did do a first look with my dad. These pics are so priceless to me. So, I'm totally going to break the rules Eeva :-)

Those are so so sweet! I love the one of your dad laughing. I actually don't remember my dad seeing me for the first time. I wish I did.
They finished taking photos with me, and had me "set up" at the altar, then told him it was time to meet his bride.

Brooke, I LOVE that one of your dad laughing. He looks so happy for you. Just to die for. Ok, here's mine:
Getting my dress all set up behind him. He hasn't seen me yet.
First thing I said to him was, "Hey, like my dress?" First thing he said to me was, "Wow."
I love this one. It looks like it's actually of my sister Kaitlyn and DH's friend John. They're centered perfectly & they're the only ones looking at the camera. Cute.

I don't know that our actual reaction faces were captured, but these are some favorites from our first look.
This is one of my absolute favorite wedding photos. This was when I came down and saw my dad, I of course cried and my niece started laughing at me. She couldn't understand why I would cry on my wedding day. She made me laugh and it was all good!
We didn't do an actual first look so this is when I first started walking down the aisle.

And I had to add this one. My brother walked me down the aisle and as we were praying I was sobbing so he was trying to calm me down. It was very sweet.

Eeva - You are a stunner!
Brookie - That is too funny because I was totally the opposite with my dad. He was trying to rush down the aisle because he was so excited. I had 4 and a half inch heels on, so I squeezed his arm and told him if I went down he was coming with me and we had a good laugh.

We didn't do a first look, and part of me regrets it. I am a pretty traditional person, so I stuck with the tradition here. But these are the pictures from when we first saw each other.
