How do you sleep at night?
How do you and your husband sleep? Meaning, do you spoon all night? Do you face each other? Do you face opposite directions?
Re: How do you sleep at night?
However, when it's time to sleep, we both need our space. Usually faced opposite directions.
I once read in a magazine how you sleep says something about your relationship, but I don't buy that. I sleep however I am comfortable, and it happens to be on my right ear.
We work opp shifts so we rarely sleep together he usually goes to bed as I'm getting up.
But he says once he crawls into bed I usually cuddle up next to him for a while. Then I will go back to being on "my side"
On nights we do sleep together (days off) I sleep on the right and he sleeps on the left. He usually faces the left (out) all the time. I will face the left (toward him) and cuddle/spoon when I'm cold or when I want cuddles- but I am more comfortable sleeping facing right (out) (always have) so I face right when I go to my side.
Typically, we snuggle off and on throughout the night. I prefer to face out of the bed so we aren't breathing on one another, but if I wake up and he's facing out, I'll usually roll over and spoon him...I think he does the same.
However, the one thing no one ever told me about pregnancy that's totally miserable is that you're supposed to sleep on your left side (sleeping on your back or right side restricts blood flow to your uterus (and makes my arms fall asleep!), and obviously stomach sleeping is out).
So now I snuggle with a body pillow all night, which sadly is between us, and I'm always facing inward, which I hate. I had to tell Chris the other night that we might have to switch sides of the bed eventually. I think he had a small panic attack just thinking about it!

If were watching t.v we snuggle.
When it's time to sleep with start out with both of us on our sides facing out, Back to back. and though out the night end up rolling around and snuggling.
H stays up a lot later than I do, usually. He only needs 5-6 hours of sleep (trust me, he's cranky if he sleeps more than that). But he always "tucks me in." So we snuggle for a while then. When he does come to bed with me, he lays on his back, and I lay against him with my head on his chest. Until he starts snoring. Then it's "Time to roll over, you're snoring." "Oh, okay, sorry." lol. Then we're usually back to back. He has cartilage piercings that get aggravated if he sleeps on them, and I have a bad right hip (God I feel old), so I usually sleep on my left side, or on my stomach. I have to lay on the side of the bed that's furthest from the door. I'm weird like that. But we don't stay touching for long, I'm like a furnace, I put off a TON of heat from my chest.
I love bed. It's my favourite place to be. I think 9 out of 10 nights, when I crawl into bed and say, (lolspeak) Oh bedz, I misses you, did joo miss me? Yeah, I'm weird like that.

THIS!!! LOL
Steve also stays up later than me, so we snuggle when he comes to bed.
His side of the bed is closest to the TV, so he's usually either on his back or his side, and I'll snuggle up to him and lay my head on his chest or his shoulder, but once we fall asleep, we pretty much drift off to our own sides of the bed and roll over periodically through the night to kind of reach out and make sure the other one is there, and then back to ourselves.
My kidney issues cause circulation problems, so I have to shift positions a lot during the night or my legs will fall asleep and eventually cramp and contract, which makes them nearly impossible to move or walk on. So I wake up a lot through the night and I don't want to wake him, too, just so I can shift positions. It kind of limits the sleeping snuggle time. He tolerates it all pretty well, though, and I don't think it's indicative of any relationship issues. That's some craziness.
