What did you make this weekend? Any slam dunks you want to share the recipe on?
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

I made these li'l beauties last night and baked them this morning:

I also made homemade chicken stock overnight in the crockpot, and made chicken noodle soup from it for dinner tonight. That crockpot has been working overtime lately!
I made a cheddar potato soup yesterday that was perfect for the cold drippy weather. I also made a batch of Mrs Field's Cookies to send to CA for my bff's birthday.
Saturday, I barely even went into the kitchen except to throw together the cookie dough dip that I found on a recent blog. It wasn't very good.
Two A+ recipes this weekend!

Oh, yes I did!
Lol!
I meant to answer this one this morning!
I did some investment cooking with my SIL this weekend. We made 16 servings of Chicken Vegetable Soup, 12 servings of Chicken Cacciatore, 12 servings of Chicken Pot Pie, 4 servings of Coq Au Vin and 16 Chicken Burritos, then split it down the middle, all for about $75 a piece. It took from 10 am to 4:30 pm, but was totally worth it!
Double lol!
