I don't care about the "royal wedding"

The news will not shut up about it. 2 of my sisters are obsessed with all things royal wedding, and I just don't care at all.

Anyone else?

Re: I don't care about the "royal wedding"

  • I'll be interested to see pictures, but I don't need updates about the wedding. I don't know any of the companies and etc they are hiring or whatever, so the frequent updates about the wedding have no value to me.

  • I'll also look at pictures of it after the fact, but I really don't care about hearing the details of the planning.  I am curious about the dress, but again just want to see what it looks like.  All the speculation is so dumb.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • I don't care either.  I keep getting annoyed that there is so much about it in my celebrity magazines.  Ha ha ha.
  • That what?

    Wink

  • I watch GMA in the mornings (or more like, it's on TV when I'm feeding the baby and the dog and the bunny and trying to get things going in the morning) and they speculate the dress and guest list and such literally every single morning!
  • I watch the Early Show (yes, I am 80 years old), and they have a countdown going and some British woman on at least once a week speculating on the wedding. And I also don't care. I mean, I am curious to see what the dress looks like, and I do covet Kate's hair.  It's so shiny and lovely. But mostly, I don't care.  I'm not sure I cared about my own wedding as much as the media seems to care about this one, honestly.  But then again ours was pretty low-key and casual, and we only took on each others student loans/credit card debt, not ruling a whole kingdom.

    Hahahahaha Yes

  • I am going to watch because I watched the first one when I was about 5. My Mom woke me up early and we watched. So more for a sentimental reason than for anything else.

  • Don't care.  And the fact that People magazine headlined the Royal Wedding over Japan kinda irked me...
