Going to VT?? Holy snow batman!
um, they got DUMPED with over 2 feet of snow this week. I've seen pictures and I thought people were teasing me. No, snow banks are the height of decks and grills on decks. Seventh worse storm in history and its in MARCH???? WTF? I'm not looking forward to this. AND, Abby has been sick the past three days with very high fevers (104+) and I really don't want to make her travel. MH may be making this trip solo although we will miss a very special baby shower on Saturday and playdates. :-(
I'm pretty psyched with the rain we got after hearing all these snow stories.
Re: Going to VT?? Holy snow batman!
Eww, that sounds miserable. I was sooo happy to see the ground yesterday and this morning. Yes, I said it, the GROUND!!! All that rain actually made bare spots where the ground can be spotted, last seen in December.
There is such a funny thing that happens with us Mainers. Snow snow snow, then Feb hits and March its like ENOUGH
I hope little Abs is feeling better!!
The storm wasn't so bad in southern VT but my sister wrote me an e-mail that was the equivalent of calling someone in tears. It's been quite the winter.
I hope Abby's temp goes down soon. :-(
I am so so so over this winter...I would cry, too if that had happened here. I can't wait for warm weather, strolls with my baby, and playground trips with Owen!
Poor Abby...I hope she feels better soon!
I miss living in VT for a lot of reasons, but the long winters aren't one of them. It snowed several times there in May when I lived there and I definitely remember walking down the middle of a pretty major road during a snowstorm in collge where the snow was up to my thigh. Winters definitley dont seem as bad here in Maine!
Hope Abby feels better!!
