clean up?

I recently got married and have been having sex for awhile but I was curious if you ladies have any good tips for "cleaning up" after sex. I usually just keep toilet paper by the bed, but that's not very romantic! Wink

Appreciate any suggestions! Surely someone has thought of a good way of dealing with the after effect!

Re: clean up?

  • We use condoms as our BC and keep baby wipes not too far from the bed. So our cleanup is fast and minimal to say the least. Most other posters say they just scamper to the bathroom really fast or keep a towel by the bed, or have the towel under them while they have sex.

  • we usually just go to the bathroom and clean up! or take an "after fun" shower :) I also have some feminine wash wipes that are pretty handy!

  • Just head to the shower. You may have to....uhm....waddle a little bit if you are leaking.
  • we hang up our towels from our morning showers in our bedroom, that way they are handy for clean up.
  • I keep a couple dish cloths by the bed for mop up.  I got them at Target, they are a dark color and after fun they get thrown in the wash.
  • I keep baby wipes in the drawer by the bed.

  • I do the run and pray
  • We just use the Kleenexes that are already by the bed, which are fine until I get up to go to the bathroom where I'll use a washcloth or a babywipe.

  • I'm glad to know I'm not the only one wondering what works best! We usually keep tissues by the bed and use that or one of us is sure to have a towel and will clean up better in the bathroom.

It may not be the most romantic but he is doing the same thing as me so it works for us.

  • I have washclothes (dry) in my nightstand drawer.  Or bar towels - good for covering the wet spot :P
  • He always pulls out and lets me swallow. He taste great and theres no mess!!
  • Eek, a little TMI up above... haha.

We keep washcloths close by. Whoever is less messy (usually him) gets them and throws the other to the one on the bed. We usually use a towel on the bed to stop leakage too.

  • We bought washcloths and we keep them in our night stand. Pretty cheap, you can wash them and then reuse them, and handy!

    Hope it helps!

  • We keep a dark towel next to the bed, and just grab it to catch the mess when we're done, then go to the shower to actually clean up.

  • We go to the bathroom to clean up and sometimes jump in the shower.
  • I usually hop up and "waddle" to the bathroom to avoid leakage haha. Then I bring my hubby back a warm wet washcloth to clean up his "area." Not super romantic, but we're past that LoL it's a matter of practicalty now.

  • I usually don't post here but was bored and came over to see what's new on this board. I see tons of people view the posts, but only a few answer, which I find interesting.

I think it's very nice that you get a warm washcloth for your hubby! My hubby does that for me, he is always the one to do the clean up.... that's just the way we roll.

I always find that to be a very nice thing to do for me... usually right after .....he also doesn't unload in me, usually on me somewhere... I don't like the leakage, and he doesn't mind a bit.

  • H usually grabs me whatever crappy t-shirt he might've been wearing or something and I used that to waddle and then I go clean up.

I should invest in some cheap wash cloths from Target or somewhere, good idea lol.

  • We keep a surgical shirt of H in nightstand.  Quick to grab and get initial cleaning done then off to bathroom.
