My friends are starting a book club and we each need to suggest 3-4 books. I have a few suggestions and need more. What are some good books you've read lately?
Btw, HI. I cannot respond to any posts from my home computer and have no idea why! I barely get on during the day but have a few mins now.
Re: Book suggestions
Outlander. I will recommend this to anyone and everyone that will listen. I'm on book 5 of the series and am so in love with all of these books. And the main male character.
The Hunger Games Series
The Bridal Quartet Series by Nora Roberts
Anything by Nicholas Sparks is usually a good quick read. Jodi Piccoult -My Sisters Keeper
If you are looking for classics Little Women is always one of my favorites
I have The Help though I haven't started it yet but I have heard amazing things about that.
Hope that helps.
I second the Hunger games series, it was amazing!
The Help was also great!
I just finished Water for Elephants which was really good too.
Anna and the French kiss, was a sweet, fluffy YA book, it was an easy read.
Books read in 2011: 111
Books read in 2012: 100

Thanks Ladies!
I've read Water For Elephants but I suggested it since I read it a few years ago.
I've heard from a few people about the Hunger Games...now I'm curious!
I second Water for Elephants. I loved it.
The Help was pretty good, although I didn't think it deserved all the hype on the book board. I gave it 4 out of 5 starts.
Some others I have really enjoyed:
American Wife by Curtis Sittenfield
Fireflies in December by Jennifer Valent
Family Tree by Barbara Delinsky
