Since my shin splints are still kicking my ass, even when I am just sitting here, I broke down and bought some better running shoes. My Brooks Ariels will be here tomorrow. Based off all of the information at Runner's World and Brooks' website, those were the shoes for me, so I got them off of Amazon. They are normally like $130, and they were $72 on Amazon, so I spent the extra $10 to get them tomorrow! So excited to have them for my next run!!!

April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
Incase you didn't see my post to the last post you made about shin splints... alot of the time a sneaker won't shape your arch enough or too much if they are extreme (like mine. FLAT. no such thing as an arch) so i use these suckers - MUCH less expensive than custom inserts yet work like a dream!

good luck - and popping Aleeve regularly can also reduce the inflammation!

This! Also, if you can, avoid running on sidewalks, they are a sure way to activate my shin splints. GL!
