Are there any good doctors out there!?!?

Maybe I am just extremely picky/anal/expectations are to high, but I can not tolerate my doctors office or my sons pediatrician office anymore. I feel like they know nothing, nor do they care to listen to what i have to say.  So, that being said, do any of you have a doctor that you would recommend, a doctor that makes you feel wonderful when you are talking with them and you leave feeling like progress was made?  Please share your wonderful doctors office, i really need a good one.  Word of mouth means everything. Thanks, Michelle

  • H & I have been seeing Dr. Helen Weiss at Trinity Family Medicine on Red Bank Road.  I've actually seen all of the dr's at this office in the past, but Dr. Weiss is my favy.  She gives you your money's worth of your co-pay.  Every time I've ever been to see her she has sat down, taken her time to check things that aren't even an issue at the moment, answer my questions, etc.  I love all of the dr's there (I believe they are all female) and couldn't be happier.  GL!

  • Still looking for a good PCP for me, but we love DD's pediatrician.

    Dr. Richard Berger
    Bishop & Associates (Florence, KY)
    859-371-7400

We've seen a couple of other pedi's in the practice on occasion as well, and have been very happy with them overall, but Dr. Berger has been our guy since he saw DD in the hospital when she was born. He happened to be the one on call our 2nd day there, and we just loved him from the beginning.
  • My wonderful doc is in White Oak, so it is a bit out of the way for you.

Dr. Jason Mattingly is with GCAP and he is a great listener and while he does run late some days, he will stay with you until you have all your questions answered and he can stay late if necessary.

  • I love our pedi but she is in Liberty Township north of West Chester. I think that is too far for you.
  • I see Dr. Gossard, in Anderson, and love him.  You know how other doctors make you feel rushed when they're with you? I've NEVER experienced that from him-- and he really listens when you have a list of symptoms.

Let me know if you want his contact information.

  • I also see Dr Gossard. I have been going through some challenging medical problems the last few weeks, and he has been right on top of it. He has done all the necessary tests and referrals, answered all my questions (and researching if he doesnt know), and I've never felt rushed.
