cleaning mold/mildew
Any tips for this? I live with my mom & we just pulled out her bed & all along that wall is covered in mold/mildew. It's super gross! We keep the house spotless so we know it's just from the humidity in the bedroom. She normally doesn't heat that room (ceiling heat is super expensive) but is def going start. Any ideas on how to correctly clean/ prevent it would be helpful!

I agree with PP. Does the wall with the mildew have a window? The window sill may be leaking or something. I think you have a bigger problem than just turning the heat on in that room.
We have a spare bedroom that we keep the register vent closed unless we have company staying over and we're mildew free on our walls.
Same as PP said with our bathroom...we have a small, rather shotty fan and no windows and we haven't seen any mildew.
You may have a bigger problem than what you realize...good luck!
