First ever?! I'm so excited for you! Excited for you like I was excited for Ashlee to read HP when she never had before.
I like neutrals or pinks. In the summer/spring (now in FL) I like shades that are a few shades lighter than my toenail.
Or can't go wrong with hot pink. This may be flammable, but just not white tips. Please.

I always go with bright colors for my toes
I'm addicted to pedicures since my first one a couple years ago. I got hot pink at my last one. (It's called "oh, cabana boy"....it caught my eye, AND made me laugh!) I like to bring my own colors so I can do my own touch ups if/when necessary.
I've never done the light neutrals like LB suggested, but it looks really cute. I might have to try it out.

I always go with a nude or clear because I don't like to maintain it after the paint chips off. This way it will just fade away. That's probably gross though.

It was awesome and I have another appointment scheduled for May just before my friend's wedding. It's addicitive.
