What are the "Cool" gifts for a 6 year old girl?
My niece is only two, so I am not up to date on the cool toys for 6 year olds.

I always like arts and craft kits - like paint a jewerly box, etc.
Also the Klutz books/activity kits are fun.
I obviously know very little about kids. However, we went to a six year old girl's birthday party last year and it was obvious that zhu zhu pets were the cool gift. Her and all of her friends couldn't seem to get enough of them.
Granted, that was almost a year ago, and I have a feeling that cool gifts change quickly.
I thought of a couple more - new bathing suit for the summer, new <cute> pajamas, or a new gymnastics outfit if she does that?
