    I'll start:

How old were you when you and DH met? I was 24 when we met, he was 21, but we didn't begin dating for another year

Where did you all meet? I had a 2nd job as a hostess and he bagan working there as a bartender

What is your favorite food during pregancy? When not pregnant? Pretty much the same pregnant or not. I love all veggies, cheeses and grains. I have indulged in sweets occassionally this pregnancy, which isn't very normal for me. I've also eaten more fruits.

     Beverage of choice alcoholic? Non?

Alcoholic- I love red wine and good beer. When I drink liquor,  which isn't that often, I favor margaritas or gin & tonics. I miss them all.

    Non alcholic- water and coffee.

Do you dye or highlight your hair? Yes to both

If so, what is your natural hair color? It's blonde and was very light growing up. It's kind of a dingy blonde color now.

What is your favorite activity to do with your son? I love reading to him and doing art projects, because those are they things that I love to do myself.

I know you used to be a florist.... what is your favorite flower? Flame parrot tulips, which are a large headed tulip, that is yellow with a red jagged design. But I have lots of other favorites too- hydrangeas, gerberas, sunflowers, peonies, lisianthus...I could go on all day.

Oh goodness. That's hard. I don't think I could answer that without a lot of thought. We had a hard time coming up with names. My favorites aren't necessarily my H's favorites, and that's what's freshest in my mind. I'll come back to this one.

    What are your hobbies?

I love reading, writing fiction, cooking, decorating, blogging, activities that allow me to be creative- like painting. I also love entertaining, watching baseball (specifically the Red Sox) and when I'm not so tired from pregnancy, I love yoga.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? To start- Travel, invest, and buy a house with a dream kitchen

What is your favorite song? Favorite band/singer? All time favorite band, Dave Matthews, and a few of my my fave songs by them are Two Step, Repuntzel, the Stone and Steady As  We Go (our wedding song).

What did you want to be when you grew up? An artist, art teacher or interior designer OR a stay at home mom

What is your dream vacation? I've never been to Europe and I really want to go to Spain, Greece and Italy (plus lots of others). I also would love to go to New Zealand.

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

What is the scariest thing that has happened to you?

    Oops. I posted too soon.

What is the craziest thing you have ever done? I think I'll keep my craziness to myself. I had some really crazy moments in my early twenties.

What is the scariest thing that has happened to you? When I was 18 or 19, I got very lost in a massive state forest while hike for a few hours. There was a horrific lightening storm and it was crashing all around us, and we were for sure we were going to die.

Do you have any regrets in your life? Not at all

  • imagedelta21:
Do you want more kiddos or is this it for you?

I always only wanted 2. But during this pregnancy, I started really thinking I would like one more. But I started later than I expected I would and getting pregnant doesn't come easily for me, so I guess this will be it.

Do you ever blog about failed recipes or just the successful ones?

No, I only blog about the ones I really love these days. I was post happy in the beginning and blogged meals that were good, but maybe not amazing. Now, I'm fussier and could love something and won't even blog if it's a horrid picture (not than any of my pictures are that wonderful, but they've definitely improved.)  I don't blog my flops, but I will remake and improve a dish that somehow went wrong and then post it.

We went to two Red Sox spring training games last weekend, and are doing a few more games this spring :)

  • If you could pick one word you would most like to be described as, what would it be?

And since this is "ask me anything", I'll ask you something weird.  Do you want to be buried, cremated, cryogenically frozen...?

  • imageLovethesun08:

If you could visit anywhere in the world where would it be? Spain or Greece, I think would be my top to picks.

What kind of car do you drive? An Xterra. It's getting old, but I still love it. And I hate car payments.

Favorite thing to treat yourself to? Hmmm. I have no problem buying stuff for my kid or the house, but I don't shop for myself as often as I would like, so going on clothes shopping spree for myself always feels like such a splurge. Also having someone else clean my house is a wonderful treat, but I feel like can't justify that being a SAHM.

I'm jealous. We didn't plan well this year. Since driving to Ft. Myers isn't a great idea at this point of my pregnancy, we should have went when they just played the Oriels here is Sarasota.

  • Do you make up a lot of your recipes, or find inspiration somwhere?
    imageBabyFruit Ticker
  • imageChangeOfPace:

If you could pick one word you would most like to be described as, what would it be? Alright, I'm going to sound cheesy, but I would like to be described as vivacious or something along those lines. I have always been a pretty free spirited, bubbily and perky kind of person, and the older I get the more rigid and easily stressed I get and I want to work on that.

And since this is "ask me anything", I'll ask you something weird.  Do you want to be buried, cremated, cryogenically frozen...?  I guess just burried, but honestly I'm not particular. It just doesn't matter any more at that point. I'd rather just a no frills coffin and a simple funeral.

Do you make up a lot of your recipes, or find inspiration somwhere?

I am constantly inspired by the many blogs I read. Sometimes I find recipes (from blogs, cookbooks, cooking magazines) and I just have to make them. Other times, I prefer to make them up as I go, allowing whatever is in the pantry or fridge to be my guide. (I don't menu plan and don't buy for specific recipes all that often.)

Other times, I'm feeling lazy and want to use certain ingredients and try to just find a recipe to follow. In those cases, I usually have something too specific in my mind and I wind up just coming up with it on my own anyhow. But no matter what, I rarely stick with a recipe all the way.

  • If you had 24 complete hours to yourself, no Sage or Beckett or pregnancy/Maisy, but you had to stay in and around Sarasota, what would you do?

    What's your favorite fruit?

Truly, how good was the banana milkshake yesterday?

  • Where did you have the banana milkshake? That sounds sooo good right now.
  • imageKimandRoss:

If you had 24 complete hours to yourself, no Sage or Beckett or pregnancy/Maisy, but you had to stay in and around Sarasota, what would you do?  Sleep in (if my body is even capable of that anymore) lay around in my jammies and read a book, then take a nap, go out to lunch with friends and have a few margarits and then go back to reading a book in my jammies. Basically be as unproductive as possible.

What's your favorite fruit? It changes from time to time. Right now grapes. I also love apples, pineapples, all citrus and strawberries The only ones I don't really care for are mangos and cantaloupe. And I really rather eat veggies over fruit if given the preference.

Truly, how good was the banana milkshake yesterday? Amazing enough that I really didn't want to share with my child. (But I'm a nice mommy, so I did.)

Kim and I had a playdate yesterday, and we took the boys to lunch at Chik-fil-a. They had all these advertisments for banana milkshakes and it must've been a pregancy craving because I would never normally get a milkshake, but I had to have one. When I went to order it though right before we left, Beckett wanted vanilla instead, so I got vanilla. When I got in the car, I discovered they accidently gave me banana and it was every bit as wonderful as I'd hoped it would be.

Omg, I'll have to get one of those from my local Chik-fil-a. Sounds wonderful! I love banana flavored things.
