Will someone help me find a cheap Vegas trip over spring break?
Myself and another girl have spontaneously decided to go to Vegas over spring break, just for funsies. Neither of us have ever been, so I'm clueless! I can't find a hotel/flight package for less that $750 per person. I'm not even sure if that's THAT bad. There has to be something cheaper, right? Surely.
We're probably only staying two nights and it can be Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday.
Or, direct me to a web site that will help me out!!
Re: Will someone help me find a cheap Vegas trip over spring break?
UM!!! You're supposed to go to vegas with ME!!
I'm going to find you a good deal and guide your Vegas path...
When is spring break?
DUDE, I will go multiple times! Have that baby and we will go!! You're welcome to come this time, but I didn't think you'd be game since you're all with child and stuffs.
Spring break is the week of March 14.
Haha! Like you want preggo coming along! Thanks though. We'll go sometime. Vegas is my town (ok not really.. but I love it)
When my bestie and I went last year we shopped for the best deal all over the place. We ended up getting the best deal on Expedia. Just to refresh your memory.... http://taviaredburn.blogspot.com/search/label/Las%20Vegas
I did a quick search and found round trip flight and hotel (at MGM - it's Tavia approved) for $513. That's seems like a lot to me for 2 nights considering we paid $282 for 3 nights when we went... but being so last minute and spring break you're probably not going to find much cheaper.
ETA: for 3/15-3/17
Try southwest.com - I got an email today that said they are offering "cheap" deals to Vegas -I haven't looked at the pricing so I have no idea what "cheap" means.
You may also consider renting a condo on www.vbro.com - usually much cheaper than getting a room AND much nicer.
I checked out SW, and they're between $700-$1000 for next week. I just booked a trip in August for $402/person [there's four of us going for 3 nights, two of them weekend nights] through SW, which was the best deal I could find anywhere...may be too close to spring break for them to get any cheaper though.
If I find anything, I'll hop back on and let ya know.
I read an article in the paper this morning about spring break travel to Las Vegas and other popular destinations. It said most flights and hotels were pretty booked, so be prepared to pay $$$. People are eager to travel after the rough winter.
My two cents, if you've never been to Vegas, go for more than two days.
ETA: I'm totally not trying to bust your bubble about the trip, after I read my post it sounded that way.
