What are you doing for your Anniversary?
I can't believe we've all been married for almost a YEAR! How time flies!!
I think I remember what some of ya'll are doing but anything special planned for your anniversary?
DH and I are keeping it simple, we're going to go out to an extra fancy restaurant. I'm totally dressing up! Our San Fran trip was kind of our anniversary trip.
Re: What are you doing for your Anniversary?
We are either going to the theater to see Next to Normal or we are going to get some kick-a$$ baseball tix for all-inclusive seats or a party suite. We haven't deciced which yet. Maybe I can convince H to take off Friday (or at least early) and we can do both. I also wouldn't mind getting a hotel room downtown, but they are expensive.

April Nesties March siggy challenge: Next Vacation, Anguilla!!
I know!!! How exciting to think that after all of the work, planning and putting it all together that here we are, mere weeks away from a full year of wedded bliss :-))
We are celebrating our Anni by spending a week at a beautiful, historic beachfront B&B on Tybee Island, GA (just outside of Savannah)! I am too tickled that it's almost here :-)) Woo hoo
Here is a picture of Tybee Island, GA:
We are spending the weekend in Baltimore. We booked a really nice hotel on the Inner Harbor and plan on visiting the National Aquarium on Saturday and we have tickets to Cirque du Soliel on Sunday (our actual anniversary).
I can't wait, hence the ticker I have going on now.
Mandah, I'm so jealous of your San Fran trip. That is where were really wanted to go, but couldn't afford it. I'll just live vicariously through your pictures right now!
I totally loved your pics, too, Mandah!!! I agree...San Fran is so on our to visit "hit list"!
We are taking the whole weekend (well...sat-monday) and going to stay at the hotel we had our reception at. It's a really nice hotel...a new Marriott in downtown Lancaster, Pa. So there are a lot of fun things to do...(i.e. Central Market, live jazz, great restaurants!) The hotel has a spa and a pool. Plus they have a really nice lounge and restaurant downstairs too. DH and I are going to get massages and probably get breakfast in bed, lunch and shopping downtown, and a nice dinner at one of our favorite places Sunday night. I cannot wait! We were going to go away...like Cancun, Boston, NYC...etc etc. But we feel as though we'll be able to do things in our area that we don't do all the time and get to just enjoy one another. I am so excited!

DH and I did that one year! We stayed at Leola Suites (he had won a free night) and then played tourist the next day. We went to Strasburg Railroad, the Railroad Museum and the Choo Choo Barn and had a great time....just an idea for you guys!

@Kristi- I stayed at that Marriott and it's very nice!! We had a conference for work there last year. It was fun being downtown!
We have the kids that weekend but I asked DH if he would see about the kids going back to their mom's Sunday evening so we can go to dinner at the place we got married and have the evening to ourselves. I may take off that Monday to spend the day together.
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
OMG! I love the picture of the shoe about to "squash" the groomsmen! Did your photographer do that one for you? How creative!
I know, I can hardly believe it's almost already here!!! Last year at this time, we were all in serious countdown mode!!
Anyway, we are going to Fort Lauderdale for a week, but in May, which is our anniversary gift to each other and just a much-needed vacay. But our actual anniversary, which falls on a Saturday, we'll be going to see "Million Dollar Quartet" on Broadway at 2:30pm and then will probably spend the rest of the afternoon in the city. Hopefully it's a really nice day (like it was last year!!!) and we can enjoy just walking around. We'll probably grab dinner, so I'll take suggestions for a non-touristy restaurant in the city. The theater district ones are sometimes too touristy and crowded for me!!!
I'm sooo excited!!!
WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!
(do I sound like I just won the Super Bowl??)
Haha! We actually saw it on Wedinator.com and thought it was terrific!!! It was SO hard to balance in my dress on one heel but I did it! We love the picture it is just so us.
That sounds like so much fun!
9 Glorious Months!
My Photography Blog!
I will be 7ish months pregnant...so traveling isnt a option.
We plan on going to the super nice restraunt we went to for our rehearsal dinner...then stay at the suite we had our wedding night at and enjoy our cake (freshly Remade) there. We have our actual top layer , but I want a back up plan if it doesnt taste right. lol
