Wedding fav?!
Ok Im MOH for my bffs wedding next June! Im so excited! She's letting me do alot of the planning which Im excited about, my wedding was pretty straight forward and to the point but that was how I wanted it, she wants hers very extravagent and fun so...
Tell me your favorite detail of your wedding! Mostly decor and reception, she's got her own ideas for the ceremony.

We did an ice cream sundae bar with the serving of our cake, and it was a big hit.

Yum...that sundae bar looks so good.
I put a lot of little details into our wedding like, flip flop basket, bathroom baskets, monogrammed napkins and matches. My favorite detail had to be our candy buffet (sorry can't PIP from this computer). Everyone loved it.
My absolute favorite thing was my candy buffet. There was a double brick fire place at the hall and I tied string across it and hung pictures of me and Jeremy with clothespin on it. That was probably my 2nd favorite.
I loved my disco ball and hanging lanterns.
Guests told me they loved the photobooth but unfortunately, not everyone found it.
The ones that did left some hysterical photos.

i loved the hanging lanterns at mine too--paper globe lanterns and old rustic lanterns. i know they dont sound like they match, but they looked great, really romantic feel.
it would help to know the venue and what the bride is like? and a budget?

is the venue, going to be in front of the little white church.
Very summery wedding colors being orange and yellow. Daisies and sunflowers.
Food is going to be bbq but she wants it to be a classy bbq, she doesn't have a theme like I did with the whole rock and roll thing so Im having a hard time piecing two and two together. I want her to have some fun little wow factors and I think the ice cream bar sounds great!
this sounds similar to my wedding...although we didn't do bbq, we did do an outdoor casual wedding in the country. we also used sunflowers and lots of other wildflowers for our centerpieces. we put out a wheelbarrow with hay in it and lots of flowers, we had lanterns EVERYWHERE with those battery operated little candles, really outdoorsy/fun stuff. we are FB friends, so feel free to look through my photo albums for details! i really like the idea of the ice cream bar too! there doesn't need to be a theme, just take in what the venue and it's surroundings have to offer and use that!
one other thing we did--for our bottled beers we poured a lot of ice in wheelbarrows and then put the beers in the ice in the 'barrows.

We had a candy bar too, but my favourite part was the containers I made:
I ordered the boxes and the labels online for cheap and then just printed the design and put them together at home.
Also, what time is the reception? Ours was at night, so our DJ provided glow sticks/necklaces and everyone loved them!
Sorry, I know that made this kinda big but I'm a visuals person.

I really liked all of the personalized touches we had (ie video game references/cake topper), sunflower seeds/colors of the wedding, etc. I think the more personal you get the bigger the impact
