Where in NY are you from? I'm from the Catskills in NY state. There's also a few other ex-NY'ers on here too. :)

    Andrea, I didn't know you were from the Catskills! My cousins grew up there after my grandparents moved to Jeffersonville from Ohio!

    I only briefly lived in NYS while going to school, but it was in Canton. The north of the north country :( . My husband grew up outside of Rochester but most recently lived outside of Albany. What's funny is his grandmother lives (and mom grew up) in Middleburgh. That's in the same general area as the Catskills right?

    I have a friend that lives in Canton area and I think finished college there too. Yes, I think Middleburgh is Northern Catskills?? Maybe?

    Jeffersonville (about 40 minutes north of Middletown)...
