Bare Mineral makeup (foundation)?

Does anyone use this stuff (the powder)?

My skin is really sensitive (Im probably going to ask my doc for a derm referral at my appt with him next month to address this), and dry.  I hate the tone of my skin and coloring, its really uneven.

I have tried some drugstore stuff- neutrogena and revlon's liquid foundations and just hate the way my skin feels with the liquid on it.  I would love to find something that has good coverage, and easy to use.

Any other suggestions?

Re: Bare Mineral makeup (foundation)?

  • I have the opposite skin type than you. But my mom has the same type as you. And she uses a really good moisturizer and it some mineral foundation  that is not liquid but more of a powder. And then uses a good concealer for her bad spots. Her skin has never looked as good.
  • also something that has helped my skin. i started using a primer it is a lorel one not sure the name. but it leaves my skin so soft and makes my liquid makeup last longer.
  • I have been using Philosophy's hope in a jar (moisturizer), but Im not really seeing a difference in my skin yet.  Let me know what kind of moisturizer your mom uses.

I have never bought a primer (I have used free samples from sephora).  I guess that would help!  I will check the drugstore for the loreal one.

    Thanks Carmen!
