I thought I'd pop in real quick and say hi.
As per usual, training is boooorrrriinnnggggg. Oh well. It really sucks getting up so early, but it's nice spending time driving in and out of the city with Derek.
I stopped in at Starbucks in the shopping centre (Don Mills) across the street from the training centre this morning and decided on a whim to check out the store directory. Turns out there's an Anthro here. I've never been in an Anthro before! Sooo, don't tell Derek, but I think I'm going shopping at lunch.
Also, T&Ps, vibes, juju whatever please fo rmy mom. She was ini for some tests yesterday and they discovered (well, sorta confirmed, they saw "it" before) that she's got some blood clots around her heart. They admitted her to the hospital yesterday to make it easier to get all the tests done, and apparently she's ok, but it's still a bit scary. She'd been experiencing some vision loss that they thought was "macular degeneration" but is apparently clots somewhere up in her eyes. I have no idea yet how serious/not serious/easy to fix this is, becuase as of last night she was still in the ER due to a bed shortage, and well, cell phones are very frowned upon in the ER, so we couldn't talk long, but yeah, send that good ol' Aug '09 magic dust up our way if you've got a chance!

We had some rough weather last night so no lights this morning, but my kids always make me smile. PIP of preston just for fun. He loves his feet. If he doesn't have socks on they will be in his mouth no matter what.

Hope everyone is well today. Quiet day at work, just trying to get through to 5pm. My house is going to be invaded by my H's fellow volunteers tonight; he's showing them how to work on WordPress. I should be leading it because I taught him about WordPress.
Kidding, while he does that I'll be at the gym getting in some miles. They'll probably still be there when I get back, so I just plan on reading while they finish the training.
Tomorrow morning's our appointment with the couples counselor re: the whole kid thing. I was a bit nervous, but now I feel pretty good that we're moving forward.

I'm headed back to the state capitol today for work. It should be interesting, but the hearings that I need to go to don't start until 4:00 so I don't expect to be home until 9-10pm tonight. It will definitely be a long day of work. The good news is that I get to leave early on Friday because of it. Illinois plays b-ball Friday afternoon so I'll actually be able to leave work in time to watch them.
Also, I actually followed through and got to bed early last night so I'm feeling refreshed and much less cranky today.

Just another normal day at work for me. It is snowing here, ick. I am so ready to go on vacation or for spring to get here, maybe even both!
I woke up with what appears to be a bump. I am not convinced it isn't bloat but usually I wake up with a flat tummy and end the day with a big bloated one. Maybe I will post a pic later.

Morning everyone. I'm working from home today again and not feeling good. The doctor yesterday confirmed that the big lump on my neck is a swollen lymph node (even though it's at the back of my neck) and told me to check with the dermatologist because usually it is indicative of some type of scalp infection. So off I went to the dermatologist, who told me that everything on my scalp is looking just fine. So no real answers, and I still feel blech.
Raynes, good luck to your mom. T&P headed your way.

The color in his face has finally come back too so I;m really happy about his condition right now. I'm off in a bit to get some prescriptions and then home to relax for the day until I have to pick Gibson up from school. I miss him and can't wait to see him. It's been 2 days

We had a checkup this morning, and the doc said everything looked great. He also said not to worry too much about what I'm eating. My body will do what it needs to do and the rest I can worry about after I have the baby. Thankfully DH was there to hear it. He's been driving me nuts with all of his monitoring what I eat. Granted, I don't donut binge and eat nothing but crap. It's just that I can't seem to eat meat, among a million other things that haven't agreed with me.
Tonight I'm hoping to finally relax and watch a movie. DH is cooking chicken francaise, so I guess I'll just be eating some lemon pasta. Oh well. Maybe I can stomach really small pieces of chicken.
Raynes I hope your mom is ok. and you have fun at Anthro.
Today is gloomy and rainy. I woke up to someone buzzing my cellphone to be let into my building. I wasn't expecting anyone so hit ignore. Ugh I'm not going to let some random into my building especially early in the morning.
It's a gloomy day but at the end of my day is the gym and Rango! I'm really excited to see it.

I' exhausted, it was a long night last night. Just working and going home and relaxing. I just realized 2 weeks from today I will be on a 17+ hour plane ride, guess I should start getting my stuff together.

We had a fight in one of my classes at school today (actually it was a fight between one of my students and a student from another class while both classes were in the lab). I was trying to fix the printer so I didn't see any of what went down, which makes me feel like a terrible person.

Hey all! Raynes...T&Ps for your mom.
Today was a decent day. The morning went well and then we took our kids to a local museum this afternoon. I ended up one on one with one of my kids who was being highly obnoxious...complaining, whining, refusing to participate...so that sucked. When I came home I got in a good run and then DH ordered me a kindle! I am super excited...as I started moving things around in the office to paint this weekend I realized that I have SO many books...and I don't want to move any more. We are supposed to get bad weather again tomorrow, so we got it overnighted (it was cheap) so that I can have it tomorrow if we have no school. Hopefully knowing it is coming will mean we do have school though (you know, reverse logic...if I want to get it and use it right away I won't be able to...).
Also, DH is taking me out to dinner. AF showed up today (I knew she was coming) so I am bummed since that means we have one more cycle TTC on our own before we go in to start some testing...I am consoling myself with my new kindle and a fun drink at dinner.
All in all good day! And if you could cross your fingers that we don't have another snow day tomorrow, that would be great!
