So I have reaaaally dark eyebrows. I would like to lighten them, but have never done so before.
Has anyone does this at home? How do you do it?
I'm mostly afraid of messing them up, then being crazy looking with weird ass eyebrows.
Re: Eyebrows
I have no idea about lightening eyebrows. But I laughed when I saw this post because me and my SILs code word for a hot guy is "eyebrows"
We were getting our nails done one day at a salon and all we hear is some guy say "yeah, eeeeeyebrows" and I'm thinking he has to be some tool bag. And we both turned around and the guy was gorgeous. We probably should have expected it, I mean if he's OCD enough to have his eyebrows done, he's probably really into his body.
Lol Diane!
Brooke-your eyebrows dont look that dark! Mine definitely are. I'm interested to see what others says.
If you lighten them, when they grow out you do get roots like with hair?

For lightening, definitely go to a professional!
I used to color my eyebrows when I dyed my hair dark, but that's a whole other ballgame.
dark eyebrows:

and natural eyebrows:

I don't really know anything about lightening your eyebrows at home, but my Mom has hers done at her salon every time she gets her hair colored. She pays an extra $7 and you can never tell they are growing out (or at least I can't). I think they naturally fall out before it gets to that point.
I would definitely not do them at home and stick with the salon because you don't want to end up with no eyebrows!

Thanks
That was the main reason that I liked having dark hair! But I promissed my mom that I won't dye it black again (especially since it took over 5 hours in the salon to go back to my natural color). But, I may go dark brown again...
