Would It Be Frowned Upon?

When I posted a question the other day about moving out of state, most people that responded said to sell as much as possible, and a couple people even asked about our couch. I have a lot of other furniture type items that I am looking to sell, but would it be in bad form to post those on here for people interested?

I know it was commonplace on TK especially after weddings and such, but I don't want to get reported for being a vendor.

If the concensus is that it is a bad idea, I will just post them on my blog and I can link on here for anyone interested.

It'd be different if we hadn't asked you for info, I think.... but I'm not sure what all the rules are on TN.

As a person who isn't totally thrilled about seeing groupon codes, for sales, etc. - could you just keep it to one thread?? If each item got its own post, I can tell you that my hackles would go up bigtime.

Post 'em. You've been around forever and are clearly not a vendor, or just trying to make a buck. I know people who are a lot newer/less regular than you have posted for sale, so go for it.

I don't think it would be frowned on - you are obviously not a vendor! But it might be easier for you to maintain if it was on your own blog or in your bio.

BTW - I missed the details on the whole moving to New York thing - but you will definitely be missed! I hope you still hang out on this board!

I say who cares! You have been on here forever and you are obviously not a vendor. If people have a problem with it they do not have to open your post(s)! And they will get over it!

P.S. Congrats on the move and this new adventure in your life! I am sure it may be overwhelming, but it is really exciting too!
