Stolen from another board-baths???
Do you take baths?
I was kinda surprised at how many people thought it was like sitting in your own filth or worried about previous owners being naked in their tub!
I love baths and take them to relax. I shower almost every day, so baths aren't for cleaning...straight relaxing. Just curious what others do.

Re: Stolen from another board-baths???
I just got out of the bath
As long as you shower, I don't think it's swimming in your own filth. Also, I am the only person to ever use this bath so I don't really worry about it. Bubble bath and a good book...so nice.

i LOVE baths...and haven't had one since 2007. our townhouse didn't have enough hot water to fill the tub, and now our tub in our house is too small for me.
DH knows one day when we have a big house, i DEMAND a claw-foot tub. demand.

ITA. Ilurve my baths. I usually take a few a month, but our new tub is A: small and B: it gets dirty quickly. We think its a "rebath" and the floor surface is porous so when MrBAMF comes back from a long run very dirty, there goes the clean looking bottom. It just holds onto the dirt. ICK.
MrB has taken more than me lately since he's been going on long runs to prep for the marathon. He uses epsom salts to ease his muscles.
When we get a house I'm going to look for ways to make the master bathroom into a spa heaven.
Call me Kat =^..^=
I'm not a big fan of baths. I've only used the one in our house when I had foot surgery and couldn't shower. I just don't find them to be all that relaxing. Sure, it's nice for a few minutes, but then the water starts to cool and you have to turn the water on again and hope that it's hot. It just becomes more of a PITA. Plus, our hot water runs out far too quickly. I love hot tubs on the decks of cabins though (that are thoroughly cleaned).
DH takes baths.... fully clothed to protect himself while he bathes the cats!
Bath, wine and soft music or a good book-I love it

I even duct tape shut the overflow drain so I can take a deeper bath in my tiny tub. I just have to remember to put a towel on the floor to catch the little overflow.
