sending email to possible employer

Hello! Here are the transcripts that you requested. I do not currently hold 18 credit hours of Early Childhood Education classes, but I do hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, with a concentration of primary education, from Awesome University. I also have many years experience working in both child care, pre-school, and elementary school classrooms.
I have a few questions about this position.1.) Is this position year round or does it follow the local elementary school schedule?2.) The position is listed as a Family/Child Educator. What does that entail? Will I be working more with children or family?3.) When we spoke earlier today you mentioned that there are 3 branches to your organization. Would I be traveling between branches, or stationed at one primary location?
Thank you for considering me for the position!I look forward to hearing from you!sakelp

Re: sending email to possible employer

  • I would address it more formally than, "Hello!" (but that may just be a change you made for the post.

Also, I like saying "As I previously mentioned (which hopefully you did, or use "although" if not mentioned) I do not hold the requested 18 hrs of ECE classes, I do...."

You may also want to include a standard, "please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions for me, I can be reached via email or phone at xyz.  Thank you for considering me for the position.  I look forward to hearing from you!"

    Good luck!
