You Favorite TV Shows
Joel bought me cable to give me a little extra something to do while home on maternity leave (we only had basic cable) and it comes with a DVR free for three months. SO what are some of your favorite TV shows that I can start getting into? Currently I remember to watch Grey's Anatomny and Modern Family. Are there any good day time tv shows? I'm thinking there's not, lol.

Daytime TV is pretty awful no matter how many channels you have, unfortunately!
I watch a lot of TV. My favorites are Criminal Minds, Bones, House, Big Bang Theory and Raising Hope.
If you have Showtime, my favorite right now is Shameless
Our TV schedule is as follows:
Monday- Castle
Tuesday- Glee and Teen Mom
Wednesday- Top Chef (and intermittently Toddlers and Tiaras when they're airing new eps)
Thursday- Grey's and Private Practice
Friday- The Defenders
Throw in intermittent HGTV and Food Network programming, and the NBA package, and that's pretty much it.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Monday: House and Lie to Me (which isn't on right now)
Tuesday: Biggest Loser, Chopped (FN), Glee, and Top Shot (a reality shooting competition that H really likes, and I have to admit it's pretty cool - on the History Channel)
Wednesday: Top Chef, sometimes Minute to Win It, Restaurant Impossible (FN)
Thursday: Big Bang Theory, Grey's
Friday: Kitchen Nightmares
Sunday: Chopped All-Stars
Usually after prime time, we watch misc things on Food Network, HGTV and Travel Channel like Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, Good Eats, Man V Food, Anthony Bourdains No Reservations, Bizzarre Foods, Homes Inspection, etc.
In addition to Grey's and Modern Family, I DVR House, Lie to Me, Glee, Parenthood, Top Chef, Project Runway, Pretty Little Liars, and Dancing with the Stars (don't judge). We're about to start watching Breakout Kings too. It just premiered, but we haven't watched it yet. My favorite daytime shows are the stuff on Discovery Health. I don't DVR them, but will have myself a little marathon during the summer.
I just realized I typed "You" instead of "Your" and it's really really bugging me!!
Anyways, we love us some Gordon Ramsey and we have been Hulu-ing Kitchen Nightmares. We're really bad at remember what day, what channel and what time shows that we decide we like are on so I'm excited about the DVR because now if we forget it won't matter because it will be recorded.
We also watch Teen Mom and Jersey Shore on MTV.com (since we don't get MTV) so now I'll be able to watch them at the normal time!
I'm also really excited to finally be able to watch Tosh.0. I've only seen it a couple of times when we were visiting friends and I laughed my ass off.
I'm really excited that I'll have Discovery Health back as well!
