I'm a do-si-do's wh0re. I might have to go to therapy, I'm so addicted to sammich cookies, PB ones, in particular.
On a side note: there's a box of do-si-do's in the kitchen at work, and I've resisted for 3 days. Not sure how much longer I can hold out...

There are different names according to region/factory.

They were up until like 3 ish years ago!!! you're not crazy.
Samoas...like duh.
Mary, what I learned was that they call them by different names in different states. I guess different states/troops use different factories/distributors or something.
I went into a frenzy when I moved from MD to PA when I thought I couldn't get samoas anymore.

That's right. Thin mints, samoas AND tagalongs. Be jealous. (I had to get 2 of the thin mints and tagalongs cause H and I can't share cookies and he doesnt like samoas)

I would like to announce that my fat a$$ has refrained from buying Girl Scout Cookies this year. I walked by them every single morning in the train station.
I am a Samoa lover.
I am a girl scout leader...... and the cookie mom.... you can all shut the hell up about cookies... I was tired of em about a month ago.... UGH!

I caved and ate the last 2 do-si-do's from the kitchen. They were marvelous. And while I was eating them, I yelled, "my pain is over!" <---true story

My dad was the cookie mom one year. I love the peanut butter sandwich cookies (do si do's I guess). You're not crazy, they were different names. They have changed since I was a kid, and I do not know the new names. Caramel Delights, Shortbread, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Peanut Butter Patties, and Thin Mints were the only ones when I was in Girl Scouts.
