I had no idea Mike Starr passed away.
I just read this on another board and I'm sitting here shocked. This probably sounds so lame, but I'm actually sad. I watched him on a few seasons of Celebrity Rehab and he was always such a great guy, trying to keep everyone positive, etc. I felt so incredibly sad for him that he felt responsible for his best friends death. I hate to know that it was drugs that caused his death.

This. My mom called me to tell me this yesterday & I was so bummed. I don't really know much Alice in Chains, but I watched him on "Celebrity Rehab" and "Sober House," and I really liked him. He had his scary moments for sure, but I think anyone with those demons would be scary sometimes. I was so happy to see him on this past season of "CR" talking about being sober. I felt like staying clean was the best way he could honor the memory of his best friend who overdosed. Such a bummer.
