Kind of funny
I've had a bagillion people tell me I should look into the county day care assistance so I don't have to pay full price for day care. Every time someone says that to me I think "yea that would be great, but I'm pretty sure I make too much money". That's a good thing right?
So today I decided to just call social services and find out for sure. The lady takes all my info and our income etc. Then she says "uhh, yea. I'm so sorry but you make about double what our max is. I'm really sorry!" She's sorry I make too much? I'm ok with our income lady! Although it would be nice to get some free money 
I wonder if I make too much for WIC too?

You just never know! Don't be surprised when they're sorry you make too much to be eligible.

We don't even qualify for WIC, but we will when I lose my unemployment. The cutoff for a family of 3 is something like $752/week.
ETA: $652/week.
That's kind of what I thought too, but Travis was so convinced that everyone could get it because it's about "healthy babies". I kept telling him "yea, poor healthy babies who's mothers need the nutrition help!" Obviously that's not always true, but you know.
