Thankful Thursday

What are you thankful for this week?

I'm thankful that i still have most of my family around me and they are loving and very supportive, which is especially necessary while i'm having such a hard time dealing with the loss of my dad.

I'm thankful that aside from being a fatty, im actually very healthy (aside from mentally right now)!

I'm thankful that my horrible week at work is going to be done on Sunday, and then i get to go to my Aunts house for a tasty Irish-inspired meal :)

Re: Thankful Thursday

  • I'm thankful for my amazing husband who wants nothing more than to make me happy. And he surprised me with the cutest card last night that just put a huge smile on my face.

I'm thankful that I'm finally motivated to workout more. Signing up for the 5k really put a pep in my step and I'll now be at the gym 5x a week (between running and gym clases)

I'm thankful for our amazing priest who is willing to go above and beyond to help us get to where we want to be. Whenever we move, he will one of the hardest people to say goodbye to.

  • I'm thankful for a good nights sleep last night. The day is so much easier to get through when you've slept well.

I'm thankful for my husband, who always makes me smile with his crazy little jokes and awesome hugs.

I'm thankful for our church, and the "family" we have there.  We love our priest too, lburkey!  He is just so friendly and always has a smile for "newlyweds" as he calls us (and probably always will...he came to our church right before we got married).

  • I'm thankful doctors, nurses, and anyone working in hospitals.  I feel like I've spent so much time in them lately and it really takes a special person to be able to work there, especially in the PICU.  I know I could never handle it and am so grateful that there are people out there who can put thier own feelings and emotions aside for others.

I'm thankful RCIA.  I joined more to get a better understanding about my husband's faith but have found so many other benefits in going.  The instructer is great as well as all the other people involved and the other candidates and catehumans.  I feel like this class has really helped me to grow in my own faith.

I'm thankful for my husband.  He is going to school full time, working full time, and still making time for me and his family and friends.  I don't know how he does it!  I know that with recent events taking place, it is really getting rough for him but he is still managing to ace everything.  I just love him so much!

  • I'm thankful for the fact that my cold/sinus infection mostly held off until AFTER I gave my first lecture. Now hopefully it will go away quickly so I can focus on #2 & #3 for Monday!!

I'm thankful for an employer that offers random classes (like knitting & sewing!) and that participating in these classes can help me earn extra vacation hours!  I signed up for both- and one of the students in the class I am teaching is now teaching me how to knit.

I'm thankful for my husband and for all our family and friends that came to our housewarming last weekend!  We had a great time. On Sunday he made the comment that many of "his" friends and "my" friends are now friends with each other as well!

I'm thankful that my husband kept his cool even when the upstairs toilet lid accidentally broke an hour before the party (a clock fell off the wall onto the toilet lid, cracked it in half), and that was just after he realized the downstairs toilet was cracked (tightened it too much after replacing the wax seal last month).

  • I'm thankful that even though I'm not working right now, my husband is more than supportive, and knows how much it upsets me to not be teaching.

I'm thankful that I'm finally getting interviews this year. Last year, after getting let go, I had 2 - total. I am on #3 in the last 2 weeks for this year.

I'm thankful that I'm in good health for the most part. I'm trying to work out and eat healthier, but I don't have any major health problems.

I'm thankful that my little brother is almost to his 2 year date for his probation. (He got in some trouble, but if he makes it until this time next month, the charges are lowered drastically and he can join the military, which is what he wants to do!)

  • I'm thankful that even though I have a nasty cold (hopefully it hasn't turned into a snius infection) and don't feel well, that I don't have any major health illnesses or diseases.

I'm thankful I got to come home this afternoon from work when I didn't feel well and slept all afternoon and that my boss and co workers were supportive of that.

I'm thankful for my house we have lived in for about 5 weeks.  I love it!

I'm thankful for my DH, mom, and family and friends and their health and safety.

I'm thankful for SweetTart jelly beans..and they are my new addiction....I had some at work and had to buy a bunch at Wal Mart. DH loves them too!!!  I am not a big jelly bean fan but love these. I always liked SweetTarts when I was sick since I a kid with the chickenpox so having these when I am sick is perfect!

I'm thankful for this board for reminding me of what to be thankful for.

  • I'm thankful that I am healthy & pregnant and that J and I get to meet our little pumpkin baby next Wednesday via u/s.

I'm thankful to finally have a job! It's PT, it's temp but it is experience in higher ed, and now I will have an easier time getting into other jobs in colleges/universities.

I'm thankful that spring break is next week! This girl needs a nap!
