Re: Spring Cleaning
I started the other day. I plan on doing my whole apartment. I'm having a baby in July so I want to get everything cleaned and organized!!!! I've already done my fridge and bedroom closet. I'm working on my bedroom today.
Just search the internet. There are lots of list and blogs out there!!!
DH and I did a huge spring cleaning a couple of weekends ago. We got rid/donated a ton of stuff.
I usually start with rooms that are used most often and then tackle other rooms. Our 2nd bedroom was a wreck so we saved that for last.
We made sure to vacuum all corners, baseboards, ceilings, and vents.
Probably in the next couple weeks we will do another deep clean when it is nicer out.
Maintaining it is our worst problem!
Ditto on what Jkip0705 said - I like to wait until its nice enough to open the windows while I'm cleaning. For some reason it makes everything go faster, plus it smells better when I'm done.
I usually use the Martha Stewart Handbook for tips on what to do. I've seen copies of it a couple different libraries if you want to check it out (I'm a total Martha girl).
My main goals for this spring is to clean the carpets and get rid of some things in our closets.
At some point, I'd like to clean the blinds and replace some of our curtains.
