That's so weird, I wonder why I'm the only one who doesn't see it.  There's not even a red X or anything, just your text and that's it.  Strange.

Ha ha ha ha.  Not quite.  I have seven hens that live in a coop in my yard.  This lady got sick last week, and has had to move in with us until she is better.  She is for sure on the mend, and I think we can move her back to the coop this weekend.  She lives in our kitchen in DoggieCrushing's old crate  currently.  We let her out to stretch her little chicken legs throughout the day.

Awww, glad she is on the mend.  Great photo :)

  • That's so cute! I am going to post a pic of my animals like that- (and i still owe you an email! totally got caught up yesterday in work and crazy animal stuff).

  • Oh he is so good! I want some new pix of his purty face! His fur looks fabulous, btw! So shiny and lustrous.

I wonder what P would do if she came across a chicken...we have a few roosters that live a few blocks over and sometimes they are in the driveway, but she doesn't seem to notice them. But then again, she's on leash.

  • Haha thats awesome!

    Anniversary
  • Wow, I really can't believe how good DoggieCrushing is with those chickens!

I will post some more!  Ha ha ha.  I think he is pretty handsome.  We give him fresh eggs for a shiny coat!

A friend of ours has a Jack Russell, and she says for sure that her pup would attack our chickens.  There is a neighborhood dog (lab mix) that wanders into our yard, and she doesn't pay any mind to the hens.

  • CameDown, I want chickens so badly. I even have the book "Raising Chickens for Dummies" but DH will not budge. Maybe when I someday have a new house, he'll let me and I'll bug you about it.
