ETA: It was actually Darren Criss's (Blaine on Glee) tweet about praying for those in Japan that made me exit my Twitter app & go to CNN.com

My sister texted us so I got up and turned on my computer and tv to pull up the news. Once I got the news station on the tv I logged into FB to see if any family/friends in those areas were updating.

radio on the way to work. If I hadn't heard it there, it might've been here on thenest. If I had my FB on most recent rather than top news, it would've been there.

FB about the possisble Tsunami hitting California but I didn't realize it was because of an EQ in Japan until I heard it on NPR on the way to work.

I read a friends update at 3 when I was up feeding L. We don't turn the tv on in the morning, so the next possible place would have been the radio.

Also Facebook. I don't have time for TV in the mornings, and I barely listen to the radio anymore. I've been all over NOAA and CNN since I got to work.

I'm ashamed to say here. I take about 20 mins to get ready in the morning and I listed to a cd on the way to work. When I got here they had sesame street on. I'm so uninformed.

I checked Facebook at the same time I turned on the news, and because I 'like' the Big Island, I was getting much more specific tsunami info than the news was giving at that moment, as they were mid-story.
