I had to get up butt early to take Don to work this morning...he's physically going to be at work, but he won't end up doing anything. I got starbucks on my way into work as a treat since I had to get up early. I haven't gotten coffee on my into work in over a year! WHAT, crazy I know! A freakin grande white chocolate mocha is almost $5...I remember why I stopped going there!
I made a really yummy creamy taco mac last night for dinner. I was surprised at how easy and tasty it was too. I did the dishes, cleaned the counters, and stove top while I waited for dinner to come together.
Tonight will be leftovers which a side of lounging all night long...sounds good to me!
Last night I hung out with some of my female college friends. Every girl I hung out with in college (except one) was in my college's med program. They're all freaking out because they match (or not) on Monday. They're all RIDICULOUSLY smart and so hard working; I bet they'll all get a good match. I really miss all of them, but apparently med school makes you VERY busy and they've all been flying around the country for residency interviews.
Tonight is going to be all about doing nothing. I cannot wait!
And this weekend, we're going to visit H's fam. I totally forgot that the local St Pat's celebration is this weekend (seriously it makes so much mroe sense to be NEXT weekend) so I'm kinda sad I'm missing it. Especially because one of my work friends is throwing a party and lives on the parade route.

I have been waiting for this day all week. Weather and traffic were lousy last night. I did get all my errands taken care of and my niece's spring concert was really cute. Then I went home and watched Big Bang Theory & Rules of Engagement. K came home from bowling in a pretty pleasant mood, and I fell asleep about 5 minutes after he got home.
No big plans for tonight. Non-stress test this afternoon and then cleaning up the house. Making chicken & sweet potato stew for dinner - so yummy. K works tomorrow morning and my BFF is coming up for a girls afternoon. OG Soup & Salad for lunch and pedis on tap. Our wedding photog is coming over Sunday to do bump photos. So, should be a relaxing/productive weekend. The best kind.

I hate that we loss an hour of sleep this weekend but I love that it will be stay lighter later. I got my hair did last night. So it looks great this morning I only wish that it would remain looking nice. I don't care enough to do it in the AM, sleep taks priority over doing my hair.
Greg is working tonight. I will either go to dinner with some friends or sit home and do nothing, which sounds really nice right now.
Yesterday was so blah with the immense amounts of rain, plus I took a midterm (I think it went fine). Last night I was in a super huge funk so Jeff made waffles for dinner. He actually cheered me up a lot and the rest of the night was a good dose of snuggling and critiquing the singers on American Idol. I had a lot of trouble sleeping though and this morning I was so exhausted that I decided to sleep in and stay home. Eff work, I'm still bitter. I have a bunch of papers to read and I'll do that better at home than at work, anyway.
I have promised myself that today is the last day I allow myself to wallow in misery and have my own private pity party. This weekend we get to see an old friend, and I am determined to put the crap from this week behind me and just move forward. I need to start working a regular schedule again starting Monday (studying put things all out of whack) and get back to my normal workout routing. No more moping!

I overslept this morning and came into work an hour late. Oops. I have 3 meetings today but one was done last Friday since the mom wasn't going to be here anyway so just getting a couple signatures. I'm hoping the teachers show up for the other two but we shall see. I'm supposed to test a kid with autism sometime today so fingers crossed because I haven't had to do that yet so it'll be interesting.
And I'm getting out of here as early as possible today so I can meet my sister and pick up my nieces for a fun filled weekend.
Last night was leftovers and a stop at the goodwill bookstore for books for my nephew so my sister will stop bugging me about finding him some. They had TONS so I scored!
TGIF and Happy 80th to my Pop! He is not feeling and we're having a big bash for him tomorrow so I hope he can rest today. Today is also the day my stepmom's dad has aorta replacement surgery so send some good thoughts his way please.
Last night I got my pants hemmed, ate with MFD at Cafe Riviera, hit the Dollar Store and ShopRite. When I got home I unloaded groceries (I hate unloading groceries), packed my lunch and gym bag, and got on the couch. I just read and watched some Iron Chef and was in bed exhausted at 11.
I turned my alarm off this morning, not good. So glad I woke up in time. By the end of the week my body is so tired, I guess that's evidence of good work at the gym.
Today is not a good day for my boys...nail clippings for both then Geege has to go to the vet. I'm very glad MFD is doing these things.
I blowdry and "do" my hair MAYBE once a month. I am totally a wash and go girl.
it's really bad. I kinda wish i cared enough to do my hair. I would love to have the posh spice hair cut, shorter in the back one but you actually have to do your hair for it to look cute and I know I wouldn't ever do it!

Cheated hardcore on the diet last night. Talk about stress eating.
Nothing else interesting to say, save that once I flat iron my ethnic hair, I can wear it for at least a week. with minimal touch up. Boo-ya!

dang it! I've been so consumed with other stuff that I didn't realize we change clocks this weekend! Crap!
Last night J grilled steaks and twice baked potatoes for us. They were awesome! Tonight I'm having dinner with a girl friend. Tomorrow J and I are going to the capital to protest. Should be interesting. The Farmers union is organizing a tractor protest, so not only is the cap going to be surrounded by people, but it's going to be surrounded by tractors too. Should be insteresting.

Good lord, this Friday did not come soon enough. I woke up yesterday thinking it was Friday, and today thinking it was Saturday.
I was hoping to work from home today, but realized I have a few meetings that I need to be here in person for, boo.
Laura, that's such a good attitude! I do the same thing, allow myself until X date to wallow and be pissy, and then move on. It actually worked this last time, where I was annoyed with ILs over the Hershey Park business.
Moleson, I can't wait to see photos on the news of this tractor protest! My parents were going to go to a solidarity protest a few weeks ago (can't remember if they made it), and I hope they have more of them here in CA.

I'm working from home today. In theory it sounds great, but it's not. I'm having trouble focusing with all the dirty laundry and dishes harassing me. I'm trying to work AND clean, but invariably, one of those always ends up worse off.

We had delays with our house, too, but it was because the bank hadn't properly taken title (foreclosure), so they had to quickly record a deed before they could deed it to us. Grr. It delayed our move by a week, but luckily our apartments were cool with it.
