Howdy ladies! Good morning and happy friday! What's going on this weekend?!
PS-Can you tell my day's off to a good start? No more gloomy weather or bad mood for me. I slept in (yep, my hair is in a bun and dirty), it's sunny, and I was compliment on my coat and earmuffs this morning. I was told the look is very "becoming" on me and like anyone, I love compliments
.
Re: Happy Friday! Plans?
Tonight: Low key. After work I'm going to get a manicure and my eyebrows waxed. I desperately need my eyebrows done and the place that I tried last and liked sent out a coupon this week for buy a manicure and get a free brow wax. So, for a few bucks more than the cost of brows, I'm getting both done :O)
Tomrw: Another early Saturday. Chicago celebrate's St. Patty's day tomrw (dyes river green, parade, green beer, etc). I'm actually babysitting in the 8am morning and the parents of the kids are going out. At 2pm I'm handing the kids off to another babysitter and I'm meeting up w/DH and our friends to go out. At first I was bummed I agreed to babysit, but wanted the extra money. Now I realized one of my friends works until 2pm also, so we'll be "catching up" on the drinking together. Then Bulls game tomrw night, the 1991 team is there for an award (Micheal Jordan, Scottie Pippen, etc).
Sunday: Rest/recover :O)

Good morning! I am SO glad that it is finally Friday, but I really don't want to be at work today
Hopefully today goes by fast!!
tonight: going to see some friends after Steve gets off work at 8:30
Saturday: going to pick up a king size bed from Steve's dad that his grandmother is giving us as a late wedding present. Very excited! (major upgrade from my full size bed that I have had since HS!)
After that we will go to dinner somewhere.
And then we are going to see the Harlem Globe Trotters at 1pm. I didn't even know that they were still around, but when we bought my glasses, we got 2 free tickets since I got 2 pairs with transitions lenses. Should be pretty fun
Sunday: church in the AM, probably lunch with my parents, then small group at 5:30
Tonight: clean the apartment and go grocery shopping
Saturday: DH and I are total math nerds so, we're hosting a Pi day party (Pi day is on Monday, but who wants to party on Monday). So in the morning I'll be baking lots of pies. And in the evening I will be eating lots of pie, drinking lots of wine and playing games to celebrate my favorite number, pi.
Sunday: Recover from Pi day party. Pack up DH's car as he is headed back to NY and we're starting to move our stuff back and leaving it at my parents' house. Probably should go to the office a bit to get some work done.
Trip to Prague & bring home furbaby when we get back

Aw cute!! I'm a math nerd too...in high-school my math teachers used to bring in pies to celebrate. Maybe I should attempt to make some and bring to work Monday (I'm an engineer)

It's our last weekend before we take possession of the house, so there will be a flurry of packing and driving boxes to the thrift stores.
Tomorrow night we're going to a potluck for a friend's birthday. Sunday morning is curling.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermTonight: Buying paint, chair rail, and supplies for tomorrow; might go out to dinner
Tomorrow: Chris and my parents are going to paint Carter's room (YAY!!!) so I have to stay out of the house. Baby shower and shopping are on my list of things to do.
Tomorrow night: No plans; I'm sure Chris will be worn out so probably just dinner and a movie at home.
Sunday: Hopefully putting Carter's furniture together!
Pretty boring, but one I've been waiting for!
Megan & Chris
Tonight I am taking my husband out to a Japanese teppan restaurant that he really likes and then not sure after that.
Tomorrow my husband has the day planned. I only know that we are going to do lunch at Olive Garden and then go out to dinner. He has something up his sleeve because we have appointments, but he is not telling me what they are. I'm excited!
Sunday we are doing brunch at our favorite restaurant and maybe doing some shopping for things for our house. And then spending the day together because he leaves the next day for another 2 week business trip
(
Tonight we're grabbing a quick dinner out, probably Chili's, trying to hit the Applie store to update my iPad (did know that's available now?!) and hitting up Bed Bath & Beyond. We got a referral gift certificate for my MOH when she registered, plus we have some returns and a coupon for 20% sooo.. we plan to pick up a few things.
Tomorrow. We're going to an Amish market with my parents to get fresh foods and baked goods. I can't wait! Then later, Philly celebrates St Patricks day tomorrow as well. Erin Express (bar crawl), city buildings do their lights in green.. so we'll be participating in some of that. I'm pretty excited because we haven't been out and about since my birthday!
Sunday. I booked a "Flavor of Philly" tour for Mike and I as part of his bday gift. It's a guided tour around Philly that takes you to get cheesesteaks, soft pretzels, tomato pie, chocolate covered pretzels/cookies, etc. to see all the foods of Philly. I'm really excited. He grew up in Philly so I try to get him back to his roots every once in awhile so he doesn't feel like he's lost that city boy in him! We've both had most of these foods before, but never experienced it together. Also, They recommend you were comfy clothes for the walk.. and to have room in the waistband lol
Oh. my. god. That sounds amazing. Seriously. Though I think I put on 2 pounds just reading that, heh.
I know, right?! I am definitely NOT getting on the scale on Monday.. or Tuesday.. or.. hahah

No - but they have an update available so that we iPad 1ers don't want to hang ourselves so desparately now that the iPad 2 has arrived lol You can do it straight from a computer. We are heading to the store for my "free" tutorial, "free" engraving on the back and so they can give me the update.
Check this out, share with your hubs. Apparently people are raving mostly about the difference in the performance of Safari.

This was the longest week EEEEEEEEEVVVVERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!
Tonight: Work on the house make some home-made mac and cheese.
Saturday: we're heading back to our home town to visit our families, and take Papa to the dog park down there. I wish we had one up here.
Sunday: Make a few more stops at friends houses, and then we'll head home sunday afternoon and probably be lazy for the rest of the day. I look forward to that.
Your Friday's are basically my Tuesdays lol.
Friday: Work
Saturday: Work
Sunday: Work
Woo.
Your welcome
Today's DH's 30th birthday, so we'll probably do a quiet dinner just the two of us. I got Sprinkle's cupcakes that we can enjoy together
Tomorrow morning we're going on our first real estate tour with an agent; we're looking at 5 houses (all of which are within our price point), which is pretty exciting. I'm nervous and happy and excited, all at the same time.
Tomorrow evening is dinner with MIL for our birthdays, and the restaurant we're going to has the BEST burger ever. Kobe beef (first time I'd even had a Kobe burger where I thought it was worth the money), truffle-infused cheese, homemade brioche bun, and amazing fries with truffle oil and truffle shavings.
Tonight Jason and I are just staying in, having a few drinks and watching TV.
Tomorrow we're going to go visit my grandmom at the nursing home and that's pretty much all we have scheduled.
Then on Sunday I may go get a new phone and we're meeting some friends for dinner at Miyakos. Pretty chill/relaxing weekend and I'm totally looking forward to it.
