Where is my tax refund????

Our accountant said that it would take about 2 weeks and it's been 3 1/2. We've already gotten our state and we're waiting on our federal. It's a pretty decent chunk of change, and I just want it already!

I heard they didn't even start processing them until Feb 14th so chances are, they are a couple weeks behind. I hope you get it soon, our stuff is still sitting on the table waiting to go to our accountant - we probably won't get a refund anyway

I heard the same thing too. I don't think we have gotten ours back yet either.

I just got everything to accountant yesterday. Probably won't get anything and will have to pay in so I am so not excited about taxes.

I was really worried that we would have to pay in too, but apparently they raped Drew in taxes, so we get a pretty penny back. Our accountant asked us about it and I told him that I would rather get a large chunk back because Drew can't save to save his life. We usually use the money to pay off a project and fund another project. We also had to ammend our 2009 taxes to take advantage of that homebuyers credit. I'm curious to see how long it takes us to get that check. I'm banking on at least April.

This link has dates for when you should expect your refund based on when you sent it in. It was accurate for me, but I don't know if they got backlogged because they were delayed in starting to process.

They must have gotten backlogged a lot, because we signed the papers on the 16th. So, we technically should have had our refund last week.

Yeah we are supposed to get ours today, and we haven't gotten it yet. BIL e-filed for us on the 28th, we haven't signed the papers yet, but he said that we would get our refund just fine before then. We are counting on that money in the next couple weeks so we can use it as a down payment on a car. Ugh I hope it comes in the next week or so.

Ours came on 2/26, we filed right on the 14th, well turbo tax did.
