I know with all that is going on in the world my annoyances are certainly not that important but ladies I gotta vent.
Its been a long few weeks in our house with lots of snot and sickness and a baby that is now mobile( in a house that is partially baby-proofed) who has also decided that she doesnt need one of her naps. Mike has been great but seriously...
He needs to finish installing the cabinet locks. HAS TO! Logan is into everything and it would nice to have to follow her and tell her no every 5 seconds.
Pick his freaking dirty socks up. Again logan is into EVERYRTHING and the first thing she goes for is his socks. Its gross!
Help me out with some of the housework. I know his back hurts and he has been up with L in the morning but I cant watch her all day and then get everything else done. Its just not possible.
SPEND SOME TIME WITH ME without his fvcking Ipad. Thats all, put the damn thing down and talk to me.
AND that is all. Thanks for the vent ladies. I love Mike with all my heart but the past few weeks have just been LONG...
Anyone else got anything to vent???
Re: If DH knows whats good for him...
Sorry Montana! I can feel your frustration coming through this post. I used to get frustrated with C about him not doing things I asked for help with around the house. I found out that creating something as simple as a list helps him tremendously. I used to ask and ask and ask him to do something and now I just write it on our dry erase board or email him a list (since he's glued to his iPhone) and it seems to get done in a more timely manner. Maybe try something like that...? Wish I had better advice.
My vent...we were expecting to receive our tax refund today and I went online and the IRS website says there is a delay in processing our return. I can guarantee it has to do with my 2 names changes. My W-2 is in my maiden name and then I had my name changed after the wedding and then again in January through the court. Thankfully, we aren't hurting without it, but it's so frustrating! TGIF

Thanks ladies! I have been trying to put together a "chore list" of sorts but I keep forgetting to actually sit down and finish it. I am also a bit of a control freak, so thats part of my problem. I like laundry folded a certain way, dishes stacked in the dishwasher a certain, yes I am crazy..lol Iam learning though to let stuff like that go as long as it gets done and most importantly learning to ask for help.
And lucky for us Logan was slow to "crawling" so we havent really needed the cabinet locks but now she is EVERYWHERE. I love it because I love seeing her so independent but she is a beast goes right where she isnt supposed too all the time.
Is it spring yet?
Trip to Prague & bring home furbaby when we get back

They can be frustrating at times, and I'd be hiding the damn iPad. "yes dear, you can have it back after you've done your chores and spent some time with your family."
I once took DH's video game remotes with me when he needed to get work done and was likely to procrastinate. Fortunately he was actually working the entire time I was out and didn't notice I took them... LOL.
But seriously - it can be so frustrating when you ask them to do one, simple thing around the house and they just don't do it (i.e.: I asked him to mop in mid-February); I've tried lists, e-mails, asking again, nagging, etc. We *have* agreed that when we have a house we'll have a housekeeper come in monthly, which should help keep the peace.
