As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Gate River Run
I've seen several of you mention this, and I've seen ads here and there, and was wondering how big a deal it is? I know nothing about it, enlighten me?

which is why they need to have corrals based on previous race finishing times. it's a clusterfluck for the first few miles... ugh. and/or have a cutoff for participants registered.
love the river run for the distance and course, but HATE the jampacked first few miles.
True! That's actually what I don't really like about it though. I feel like in most places, the course route is too narrow to support that many runners. I was very frustrated last year trying to weave in & out. (The San Diego marathon I ran had over 30k people and was never that crowded.) I was excited because I could have been seeded for the River Run this year, but then I decided not to run.
You were seriously reading my mind!
This year there is a separate start for walkers. THANK GOD.
