RAVE: Philadelphia Cooking Creme
Have you seen the commercials for this stuff? I was so intrigued and then I found a coupon for it in this past Sunday's paper and we tried it for the first time tonight. I'm a fan for life - I hope they don't discontinue this stuff ever.
Here's a link to my blog post about it: http://rosswife.wordpress.com/2011/03/09/rave-philadelphia-cooking-creme/

Re: RAVE: Philadelphia Cooking Creme
I'm glad you liked it!
I just bought some last week with a coupon, but I haven't used it yet.
I got really excited when I saw it since I'vev been using philly cream cheese in sauces and stuff
Here's a bunch of recipes off their website for the plain. There must be something there you'd like...

I haven't opened it yet, but I'm assuming it's like flavored cream cheese that you just add into meals.
i think it has a thinner consistency though. i haven't opened mine yet either, though.
It is like flavored cream cheese. Out of the container it's got the same thickness as regular cream cheese, not thinner. When you put it in a hot pan though it melts down beautifully.

This stuff got popular fast down here. When I bought my first tub the shelves were completely stocked, but when we went to Publix Saturday they were out of everything except for one tub of Santa Fe, which I scooped up, and a lot of plain tubs.
So I went to Kroger today to get the flavor I needed for tonights dinner and there were only two left so I bought both. They had a ton of plain too, and a couple Santa Fe ones, but both stores were out of Garlic completely.
I hope they never stop making it.
