Let's rev this board up again.

Has anyone begun thinking about anniversary number 2?  Anyone taking a trip?  Planning a big purchase?

Looks like the traditional gift is cotton and the modern gift is china--does anyone have a good brainstorm for that?

    I would like to take a trip, but we are going to a ton of weddings all over (Florida, Dominican Republic, etc), so I think those will use up most of our vacation time. DH is amazingly hard to buy things for, and I have no idea thus far. Ugh.

    We're hoping to buy a house this summer, and a king-sized bed for the master bedroom. So, I'm guessing the new bed linens will be our anniversary gift?

    You could get something for you to enjoy together.  Like new beach towels for the beach or a fun excursion while in the Dominican Republic.

    I think art for a new home is a neat cotton (the canvas on the frame) gift too.  You could take a date night to a painting studio and paint something funny.

    we are heading to a friends wedding about a week after. cant wait to see mexico again.. woo hoo... last year we did vegas.. cant wai to see what next year brings...

    We are going back to Savannah the second week of May to celebrate our anniversary, my graduation, and probably meet with a RE agent. I am going to get J an Xbox 360 because his old Xbox finally died. As for the traditional/modern things, I have no idea!

    Yup, Jamaica is still the front-runner. We are considering a possible Europe trip, but I don't think that will be in the budget.

    Unless you wanted to do Europe cheap.  But I say spend a less amount on this vacation and spend real money to do Europe right down the road.
