Yay Friday!
So it's not even 7:30am here and so far I've made 2 blog posts as well as an artichoke and goat cheese strata for dinner tonight.
No work today, but I plan on heading out to pick up my clothes that were delivered to a store here, yay for new bras. Then I want to day drink per Erinn's suggestion.
No big plans this weekend, just working on my portfolio and other class projects.

Morning Mo! I'm just caffienating myself by double fisting a drip coffee and a triple venti latte. I think it's one of those days.
Last night I hung out with my mom. Apparently she's just got blood that clots more than normal. She'd be told by our family doctor years ago that she'd never be able to take really long flights because of it. Weird. She's doing well, bored, and hoping to come home, but good.
Tonight I think we're just hanging out, I've been craving kaesha's bacon kale pasta dish, so maybe that for dinner. Tomorrow I'd like to hit up the farmer's market and then we're going to up my brothers place for a party for his birthday.
Sunday maybe snowboarding?

Today I am bowling with some co-workers for a fundraiser for Big Brothers and Sisters. So yay for leaving work early, bowling, and having a beer to celebrate bonus day at work.
This weekend, we are pretty much staying in. I need to go through DH's benefit package to decide what options he should take. Otherwise, it will be cleaning house, watching the Season 4 final episode of Dexter, and snuggling with all my boys before I fly out on Tuesday.

This week has flown by. Today I'm heading to the bank to pick up a bank draft for a very large amount, and then this afternoon we are meeting with the lawyer to sign all the final documents to close on both properties. Ska-wee!

TGIF!! Last night DH and I went to a champagne and cheese tasting, which was a lot of fun. And by "tasting", they actually mean full glasses. Yikes, 4 glasses of champagne on a Thursday is definitely above my notm, and I'm just so glad I'm not feeling it too bad today. Just tired. Looking forward to dinner out tonight and then relaxing at home catching up on some tv.
Tomorrow should be busy as we get ready for Australia! DH actually leaves on Sunday since he's combining a business trip, so has some meetings lined up for next week before I leave on Wednesday to meet up with him. I am so excited for this trip.

I am in a great mood because I only have a half day of work today and then I won't actually be back in the office until next Thursday as I have training in Chicago (and a GTG while I'm there!) next Monday-Wednesday.
I plan on spending my afternoon watching the Big 10 Tournament, eating wings, and drinking mojitos. Now that's what I call a good Friday afternoon. Tomorrow we're visiting Kyle's cousin and his wife. His cousin's birthday was yesterday, so I'm expecting that we'll have a good time. Then Sunday I'm taking the train up to Chicago.
I'm off today but I have an appointment to get my hair cut - it's been like 4 months. In a little while I plan on running 6 miles, unfortunately, it will be on the treadmill at the gym since it snowed again last night.
We got the call last night that Marks grandma that I mentioned in my post the other day passed away. From what info I could get, it seems like she a had good last day and was able to talk to all her children. I'm really glad Mark got out to see her last week. Now I just have to wait for the funeral info so I can let work know. Unfortunately, I'm not entitled to any kind of bereavement but I e-mailed my manager to let her know I would be needing one day off. I was scheduled to work the next 7 in a row starting tomorrow, so no matter what they day, my work will be affected.
The college is thankfully nice and quiet today. Most of the students have bailed out early to leave for spring break. I'm actually in the office by myself most of the day, so I'm thinking of tapping into some Netflix and watching comedy for a while. I love it when the students are gone.
Tonight we're finally meeting up with friends to celebrate Christmas. We used to see these friends once a week. I'm not really sure what happened. I think life is finally kicking everyone in the tookus.
The rest of the weekend looks like some good lounging time and maybe some painting finally if the weather holds up.

We are meeting up with a couple of friend's tonight for dinner/a night on the town. Much needed, I have been staying close to home these days and it will be nice to get out.
Saturday will consist of getting things done around the house and then a birthday gathering for a friend.
Sunday I hope to get some shopping done!

Hello! Hope everyone is well today.
I just bought Paul Simon tickets for his D.C. show--I already told H that we can go to Founding Farmers for my bday dinner, then off to see Mr. Simon we go! I am so geeked, I don't know what. I've been a big fan since I was 15 and last saw him in concert in 1999.
This weekend should be fun. We're going to prep for my parents' visit next week, try to finalize our April vacation, and do the usual stuff. I also have an 8K in downtown D.C. on Sunday. It's kind of going to suck with the time change, but I am looking forward to the race. Going to pick up my packet later today. H says he might join me for brunch after the race, but the time change may make him change his mind.
Yay! Friday! DH and I are trying to grab dinner reservations at one of the new restaurants near our house.
We were hoping to grab the iPad 2 today as well, but online is saying 2-3 weeks shipping
and they don't go on sale until 5PM, at which time DH will still be in a meeting and there isn't a store near me.

Now I have 2 sick kids and am really looking forward to Russ coming home on Tuesday more than ever. I have to get the boys to a doctor today for another check-up. It's a good thing they see a dr. every 4 months, this is just really good timing.
Other than that, I have a couple wreaths to make for spring that I'm hoping to sell fairly quickly and just going to try and get some laundry done slowly since I can only carry less than 5 pounds at a time.
Happy Friday! Tonight DH and I are going to see a house, even though we have offers on two other places. We're trying to keep our options open, just in case.
Tomorrow will be cleaning and running errands. Sunday we're meeting up with our friends for dinner. Should be a quiet weekend for us.

I've been MIA for a couple days...the students start the PA standardized test next week, and we have ben doing some major prep work for them. And at home, it is paint, paint, paint.
My in-laws are visiting this weekend, and we will all be busy with the house.

This weekend is pretty low key. We are having burritos for dinner tonight and then I'll spend the rest of the night reading on my kindle (I have already become an addict!) Tomorrow I have an 8 mile run planned, I want to paint the office, and I need to grocery shop. Sunday I am going to meet a couple of girlfriends for lunch. I need to vacuum and do laundry somewhere in there, but mostly it will be a pretty relaxed weekend...which is good, because next week sucks.
