IKEA cribs

Does anyone have an IKEA crib? If so, which one and what are your reviews on it? Thanks

Re: IKEA cribs

  • We have the Hensvik crib that also turns into a toddler bed.  We love it.  Great price and very sturdy.  We had checked out a lot of cribs and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and strength of all the ones they had at Ikea.
  • I don't (we went to an outlet to get ours), but I've heard nothing but good things from the people I know who have one!

  • I have the Gulliver and we bought the matresses from Ikea and we are happy with both.

My friend has one (Leskvik, I believe), and I know that she has been very happy with it - she is due with baby #2 in a few weeks, and plans to use it for that little guy too.  I considered getting one when I was pregnant with DD2, but instead we ended up transitioning our son to a twin bed and used his crib for the baby.

Baby Bargains rated the Ikea cribs very highly from what I remember when we were crib shopping for DS.  You can't beat the price either!

  • I have the Leksvik crib for Maddy and I LOVE it. Sleek, simple, cute. I have the matching changing table/dresser thing too! Nothing but good things here so far after 10 months!

  • we have the mammut cribs (the pink one and the blue one) and love them.  They are very solid and don't have a drop side.
