I need ideas. Don't think I want to cook, yet I need to eat semi-healthy as my a$$ size is multiplying rapidly.

Re: What's for dinner?
In an effort to not go to the grocery store, probably tuna salad on hot dog buns!
We're out of bread, and it's Friday, so choices are limited in my house!
I may just eat cookies and ice cream instead.
Neither of those has meat in them!

Ha. I'm so glad I'm a bad Catholic.

I'm definitely bad! I forgot it was Ash Wednesday when I packed my ham and turkey sandwich earlier this week. I still haven't figured out anything to give up for Lent. I refuse to give up my two vices, Dr Pepper and fast food. Maybe I should give up FB. That would make DH sooooo happy!

I've been trying to build up my meatless meal repertoire. So far I have:
Veggie stir fry (squash and eggplant make up a lot of substance!)
Veggie lasagna (I didn't even miss the meat!)
Garlic and tomato spaghetti (from 10 dollar dinners on the food network)
Pancakes! (ooooh, now that's what's for dinner tonight!)
Hawki has some good shrimp recipes, as well.

For some reason I judge the giving up FB for Lent. Not sure why.
Grilled cheese is another meatless meal! Also pizza.
DH is bringing me a rotisserie chicken and I'm making stir fry with it. SO HUNGRY.

Aw, why? I'm seriously addicted, so it would be good for me to do. However, that said, I don't think I will because I don't think I can bring myself to do it. I may, however, give up FB games. Is that even worse in your book?

I'm still not entirely sure about the purpose of giving something up for Lent, but I thought it had do with sacrifice/making yourself a better person, yeah?
So, arguably, if you said you were giving up FB-ing during the week in order to spend more quality time with your husband and just checked in on the weekends, I think that would be fine, yeah?
But again, I don't get the point of doing it at all, so....
We made turkey chili, one of my favorite recipes (I can share if you're interested). Usually I'm too tired/lazy to cook on Fridays.
