Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

My family could use a little T&P
My grandma passed away this morning...it's been a while coming and I swear the woman had 9 lives. She had a stroke when I lived in Germany 9 years ago, and it's been big ups and down since. She moved to CA in with my parents about a year and a half ago after my grandfather passed away, and I think this was one of the best years for her because she was so close to her tiny family of my parents, my sister and niece, my brother and his family, as well as me (when I could make it to see her).
It's somewhat of a blessing for my mom-she's been her full time caregiver for the past year and a half (and almost 2 and a half years-she was flying back east monthly). She's literally devoted everything to my grandma. My mom is an amazing women...she gets that from my Grandma who is also just as amazing...I'm lucky to come from a line of strong determined women!
So...just some prayers and thoughts for my family, especially my mom and her sister, would be appreciated.
